"Behave for Rosa." Keith said giving Kora a kiss on her forehead. "Watch over Sophia and help around the house please."

"Don't worry Keith." Kora replied with a sad smile on her face. "I'll do my best. Be safe. Okay Keefy?"

"I'll do my best." Keith mumbled

The tears Kora had been holding back for all to long, spilled onto her cheeks. The girl launced herself at her brother giving him a tight squeeze.

"I'll miss you Keith!" Kora cried. "You have to at least text me everyday to let me know you're safe okay. Even if it's a letter from the alphabet. Like the letter 'S' so we know you're okay!"

Keith chuckled. "Okay. If I don't have time to text you, I will send the letter 'S' for safe and 'F' for not safe. Sound good?"

Kora nodded. "I love you Dad."

Keith paused, surprised. " I love you too Kora."

"Stop hogging my best friend!" Lance whined. "It's my turn to say goodbye!"

Keith chuckled and turned to face his daughter, who slept soundly in her carseat.

The male bent down and gave a kiss to her forehead before placing her purple lion with her.

"Keith." Rosa said gently as the male stood up.

"Thank you. For doing this." Keith smiled at the mother.

"It's no problem." Rosa replied. "You be safe out there alright?"

Keith nodded as the mother wrapped her arms around the male. "Keith. Can you make me a promise?"

Keith furrowed his eyes brows and pulled away from Rosa. "What is it?"

Rosa looked at her son. "Promise me you'll protect Lance. I can't loose him."

"I promise." Keith murmured.

"Thank you." Rosa smiled.

"Mom." Veronica said as she walked over. "We better get going before we miss the plane."

"Right." Rosa replied. "Kora, are you ready?"

Kora looked over at Rosa before giving a hesitant nod.

Keith watched as the family walked off after saying goodbye.

He watched as Kora stopped in her tracks and turned around with tears in her eyes, staring straight at her brother.

"Come on Kora." Veronica said gently as she grabbed the girls hand.

"No!" Kora exclaimed as she went to run to her brother. "I can't leave him!"

But Keith shook his head at her, causing her to stop.

'Go.' He mouthed. 'Please.'

Lance stood beside Keith as the two watched Kora break down in the middle of the airport, with Veronica beside her trying to calm her down.

Keith could feel his heart break as Veronica picked Kora up and kept walking.

"Babe." Lance mumbled. "Let's go."
