Third person's pov

"Actually Nat, Kara and I have somewhere else to be, so we'll see each other soon or later hopefully." Lena said, smile plastered on her face. Kara glanced at Lena confused. She have no idea that they are off to somewhere.

"Wait we are?" Lena nudge Kara's waist to give her the signal, hoping that Kara gets it. "O-oh yeah, We're off to somewhere hehe." She told, chuckling nervously.

Even though Natasha knew that they are just lying, she shrugged it off. Probably because she doesn't want them to be caught up at mess just in case. "Yeah? Well see you later then I guess? Take care you two."

The couple give her a nod, pressing a kiss in Amethyst's forehead before walking away. Maria, Pepper and Carol knew what's about to happen and they didn't wanna be a part of it somehow, who wants to face the dragon Natasha anyways?

"Natie we're going s-somewhere too." Carol chuckled nervously.

"Nope. You three are staying here. Once I'm done with you three, you'll take care of my Daisy, while I go and discuss with her father. Do you copy?" Natasha declares, making the three of them nods slowly. She carefully lifts up her daughter, who's peacefully sleeping in her arms. "Where's her room?"

"Upstairs, left corner. The one with purple interior inside." Maria answered earning a nod from Natasha.

Natasha brought her daughter upstairs and set her gingerly on the bed. Lingering a kiss on Amethyst's forehead and whispers in the child's ear. "I love you, sleep tight my love."

She made her way down stairs, finding them in complete silence. Carol's fidgeting her fingers same as Pepper.

"Care to explain?" She said raising one of her eyebrows, her voice filled with full authority in it.

"Explain what exactly?"

"How do you know about my child? Why does no one told me about her? Are they hiding her in purpose? Why didn't---" Natasha was cut off by Maria.

"Okay okay slow down. I'll answer your questions as much as I can 'cause practically we both know that they won't talk." Maria paused pointing to her other friends, which earned her a glare from Pepper and Carol.  "Don't give me that look you chickens. Anyways ask away Natasha, one by one." She reminded. Maria's nervous but she was good at hiding that at the moment.

"How long did the three of you knew about my daughter?" Natasha asked. Straight face trying not to show any kind of emotions.

"Long enough." Maria answered, not giving a specific information.

"Why were you guys keeping her from me?"

"We've been told not to mention her. And besides it's not our story to tell."

Natasha's getting frustrated by Maria's answers. "You guys are my best friend... Why would you guys keep it from me?! I thought no secrets to keep from each other?"

Maria sighed, "Natasha please understand, it's not easy for us to keep it from you either. You don't know how much I wanted to tell you about Daisy but every time I attempt to tell you, I remember how you suffered from the trauma of the accident. Have you forgotten? You undergo therapy just to be normal again."

Natasha got Maria's point. Those time where she would wake up from the hospital bed crying over the feeling of getting crashed all over again, hearing all the sirens. It took her two years to be able to drive again, The pain in her head that happens randomly was killing her and how she would attempt to stop it by pulling her hair or hitting it on the wall.

"That's enough. I get the answers I wanted from you guys. I need to talk to Steve still, I need to hear his side explanation about keeping my daughter, I'll go in his office now. Take care of my baby girl." She said and with that she left the house, entering her car and starts driving in Steve's company.

Steve is in deep thoughts. Wondering what's going to happen between him and Natasha now, figuring how would he make it up to her and how would he explain things at her beloved girl.

Soon he got snapped out from his thoughts by the voice of a woman. "Hey, we need to talk." He heard. He fixed his gaze at Natasha. He knew what they are about to discuss, he just knew it.

He cleared his throat before he speaks, "Natasha, I know what this is about. However please understand whatever my reasons are, I know I'm being too much for asking you this but I swear I did it for your own sake." His eyes are pleading but at the same time filled with guilt.

"Depends." That's all Natasha replied before sitting down on the couch inside Steve's office. Steve stood up and made his way in front of her. Her face expression are somewhat cold but you can see the glint of love in her eyes.

"Where should I start?" Steve asks lowly.

"Everything that had happened right after the crash."
