The girls left the forest hours ago, talking and laughing quietly amongst themselves.
They looked terrible, dirty clothes, dirty hair and way too thin for girls their ages, but to him, they seemed happy.~
They entered the city about thirty minutes ago, hungry apparently.
They immediately set out to find a hot dog stand that the older seemingly knew.
He waited with the report until after they had eaten.~
Hot dogs devoured, they went to get ice cream, the younger one with excitement clearly visible in her face.
He sighed.
This was making his job unnecessarily hard.~
About one hour later, they left the city, the younger now wrapped up in a thick jacket and new jeans that weren't ripped.
They still hadn't spotted him.
Seeing their content smiles, he groaned.
He would go to hell for this.~
They were on their way to Mt. Ebbot, the cursed mountain. He heard the older one talk about it as if some kind of paradise waited there for them. He wondered if she wanted to jump down.
It was said those who jump never returned.
He looked away for half an hour, gave them more time to be happy, before sending out the report.~
Cursing, he paced the room of the shabby motel he rented in the town at the foot of the mountain.
What could those girls have done that was so bad they felt the need to call him for this job?
He sighed.
This would be a long day.~
Three days later.
They took a break by the river that came down from the mountain, bathing in the stream.
The younger one laughed louder than he had ever heard someone laugh.
He was running out of time.
What should he do?~
One question wouldn't leave him alone.
Why did they want them dead?
They seemed like normal kids, good kids even.
He would pay to have his own kids listen to him as good as the younger one listened to the older.~
He should have never taken this job.
.
"Stupid"
He hissed.
"Stupid, stupid."
The next rock hit the cave walls.
"WHY IS EVERYBODY AROUND ME SO STUPID?!"
Flowey was in a bad mood ever since he woke up this morning.
Actually, he had been in a bad mood for the last five days- not that anyone was counting.
Well, except for the poor Froggits and Moldsmals who lived with him in the ruins.
And the Whimsuns and Looxes.
And the Vegetoids and Migosps.
Actually, everyone that lived in the ruins was counting the days, hidden in their houses, staying as far away from the flower as possible.
Not that Flowey knew anything about that.
Or even noticed it, for that matter.
He was angry.
No, scratch that. He was furious, pissed off to the point that there probably wasn't even a word anymore to describe just how angry he was.
They were all idiots.
