______________

Third perspective

Connor and Zoe used to have a good relationship, they paid attention to each other and spent time together all the time when they were younger.
They were happy.
Society just wasn't a fan of it.

They were now in senior year, yeah it was actually the worst between them right now.
Almost everyday started with yelling at each other or looking at each other with a lot of anger in the eyes.

Of course no one of them would have told the other one what they actually thought, especially Zoe who spent a lot of time behind writing songs and playing them on her guitar, which she teached herself.

Without even recognizing it, several of her songs were about her family, most parts about her broken relationship to her brother but if she would have told that to anyone, they would think she was a weirdo.
In her opinion.

It was hard to live in a world where you were getting judged everyday by everyone who crossed your way in the hallway.

Looks in disguise, people who laugh and talk about you behind your back and the teachers.
They were actually the worst, I mean come on. They told you, you could always talk to them without that they tell your parents but in the end every other teacher suddenly knew about your problems and they probably laughed about you too.

So who could you trust when you were alone?

Connor knew that feeling too well, being alone sucked and that even more when you were the outsider of the family and the outsider in school.
When you got called the 'school shooter', loser or whatever.
When suddenly everyone was afraid of you.
When you apparently beat everyone to the ground until they couldn't walk anymore.

It was all lies, deep down everyone knew that but of course they needed someone on which they could let out all their anger and attention they couldn't get at home.

Zoe was actually pretty popular, well, the most thought.
She actually wasn't that much of a people person and the whole talking about all this random, unnecessary trash the other girls always chatted about sucked unbelievable much but how do you disappear when everyone is just waiting for your next step.
An action.
A next move or shake or anything.

But what if you don't want to continue making a move or a step?
What if you are sick of all this and want nothing more than just hide in your own world, built in your own mind with yout own rules and ideas.
Your own passions and dreams.
A place where harmony and peace aren't a stranger to you.

What if that's what you want?

It was all just a dream, a useless imagination which no one would have ever recognized because everyone was just focused on themselves, Zoe thought.

It was again one of the mornings before school, just that their dad, Larry, was already at work and their mom, Cynthia, was already outside in the garden after she prepared breakfast for her kids.

''Connor stand fucking up!'' Zoe yelled upstairs when she arrived in the kitchen, grabbing after the cereals and the milk which was already standing outside.
''Fuck off!'' The boy yelled back, stumbling downstairs with his bag in one of his hands.
''Did you finish the milk again?!'' Zoe groaned when she shook the milk, hearing and feeling that it was empty.
''Oops.'' Connor avoided a laugh and grabbed some orange juice from the kitchen table.
