Helloooo💕 I can't tell you how excited I am for this chapter😂 But all of this as the title suggests is full of surprises. Art above actually belongs to me😘 (Yes yes not that good but I'm still a bit new at it). The picture is how Arthur is going to look for the chapter, so just imagine my suckish drawing😂 I'm almost finished with another book I'm writing then I'm giving almost all my attention on this book! So prepare for a lot of updates, more so since I'm finally on holiday meaning more time to write! I don't have much to say so I hope you enjoy💕

Lovino's POV

"I feel like this is another one of those 'try to get me out of the house so we can set a party up for you' vibes from this," Matthew remarked with a smirk as I blushed a bit. "N-no way. The vibes you get is clearly not that," I look away pouting as I crossed my arms. It's clearly that. Curse me for being such a bad liar. Why did I get signed up for this job again? "Don't worry Lovino, I don't really care if there is a party or not. No no I don't mean it like that. What I mean is it was nice of you to do that last time and I really enjoyed it. But if there isn't anything when we get home I'd still be happy here," Matthew reassured smiling as I think for a while.

"What do you miss most about your old pack? Sorry for the private question I'm very curious," I ask kind of looking down. I could tell Matthew still gets quite uncomfortable and scared telling me these stuff so I stay near him. He at first looked down in shame but when I moved closer he smiled a bit. "I have to say I miss... Arthur probably the most. I miss his stories. I also miss my heat pills since I'm scared of my heat starting. Gilbert will probably want to mate and I'm not ready for it yet..." Matthew hesitantly says. I can't speak from experience since when my first heat came and Antonio wanted to do sexual stuff I happily complied, but I know some wolves struggle with that problem of either not wanting to submit to their mate or is scared of their mate leaving.

"Let's go buy you some heat depressants then. Just remember it's very mentally unhealthy for both you and your wolf if you don't go into heat for over 3 months. It's still your wolf's way of seeking protection from your mate," I reminded him as he stared at me surprised. "Matthew when was your last heat?" I ask concerned for him now since he seemed genuinely like he didn't know 3 months was the limit. "I've had my heat once. I hated it so I completely shut it off. Arthur kept his heats and didn't take any but I did try to hide my heat," he explained as I frowned a bit. "When was that first heat?" I ask curiously. "I was very late with mine. So instead of getting my first heat at 18 I got mine at 20. I have been taking heat depressants since then," Matthew explained as I stared at him surprised. "That's for two years Matthew," I told him as he looked down.

I sighed and reluctantly bought some for him. "Fine, but promise me that when you're ready for things like this that you will go off of it since then you have Gilbert to take care of you," I told him getting the heat pills. "Is it better if you have your mate with you than when you are alone?" Matthew asks looking down. "Of course it is. It's like I said great for you and your wolf's mental stability. Plus there's even laws in place that if your mate is in heat that you can take off of work still with pay so you can help your mate. Yup alphas have to do that as well," I explained to him as we walked out the shop.

"An omega's heat is called well... A heat. An alpha's or beta's heat is called a rut. Although an alpha's heat is much more downsized compared to a omegas. And yes unfortunately even if you get to be a Luna or a beta-male or female, you still have your old omega heat," I explained to him as he nodded. "...I will think about it. I'm just scared I will be holding Gilbert back from everything if I do," Matthew explained as I sighed. "Matthew it's his duty to take care of you as his mate. It doesn't matter if he has work. Besides you have no control of your heat. As you've seen you have been off the pill for the last year and you didn't even show signs of heat. Neither you or Gilbert can control your heat. And besides Matthew I think Gilbert has proven from previous experiences that he will choose your happiness over being alpha any day," I reassured Matthew as he sighed and smiled happily. "I do have a great mate," Matthew smiled happily.
