Helloooo💕 Yup it only get worse from here😂 I don't really have much to say except go check out a book called 'The Angel's feather in the demon's hat'. It is me and my friend's book we write together, there's also an Easter egg in this chapter that comes from that☺️ Anyway hope you enjoy it🌸❄️

⚠️ Angst...Just so much angst😅 Mentions of sexual activities, A lot of gore as well Roderich is a vampire so blood will definitely be in this. Mentions of a slight panic attack. A lot of this takes place in the hospital. Mentions of major character death. Like I said very angsty so beware for that⚠️

Matthew's POV

"Gil-" I was about to say his name when suddenly...

He collapsed in my arms...

I couldn't carry all his weight so I sank down to my knees. The very mild uneasy feeling in my chest almost immediately changed into a very scared and anxious feeling as I immediately held him close crying into his chest. I hug him close trying to keep pressure on the wound even though it will do nothing for the poison as Ludwig (who was still in the room) called the ambulance for Gilbert and Lovino tried to bring me and Gilbert close for a hug but I for once growled at him holding Gilbert closer to me as I shield him from the outside world.

Lovino sighed probably knowing from experience how much this hurts. Instead he started to pack food and blankets for in case we stay the night. Feliciano and Ludwig were trying to see when the ambulance will get here and was also trying to quickly find and collect everyone who was missing (Eliza, Antonio, Roderich). I just stayed with Gilbert talking to him and holding him close. "Hey you promised. You promised you'd stay with me forever right?...Right?" I ask crying as I smoothed his cheek resting my forehead against his, my tears falling onto his cheeks. "Please come back to me...I can't do it without you here..." I beg him as suddenly I felt tugging.

I was about to growl at them but I realized it was the paramedics who are going to save Gilbert. I let go as they immediately took him away. I was about to follow behind them but I felt Lovino grab my hand. I was surprised and was about to start shouting at him to let go as I wanted to be with Gilbert but he brought me in for a hug instead. I hug him back as quickly as possible as I wanted to get on the ambulance but when I looked out the window the vehicle with my mate inside was already leaving.

I immediately broke down crying as I hid my face in Lovino's shoulder although he is much shorter than I am. He just held me close smoothing my back gently as he muttered reassurances in my ear. I suddenly felt much stronger arms wrap around both me and Lovino. I half expected it to be Antonio but I recognized the long dirty blonde hair anywhere, Eliza. I at first glared at her not wanting to deal with her right now too but I suddenly felt her wrap something around me. It was a leather jacket.

"It is Gilbert's. Keep it for now, it will help," she reassured as I cried even more snuggling into it. She hugged me quickly before dashing to the music room probablyto look after the new vampire. Antonio and Lovino was also having a hushed conversation. I didn't hear all of it but what I did hear was Antonio asking,"Should I drive you to the hospital?" Then Lovino responding,"No don't worry. I want to keep Matthew's mind off of it and talk to him about something." I sigh and quickly dash to my room getting the necklace and the bird toy he got me.

When I turn around I see Lovino waiting by the door. If it were any other day I would've screamed at the kind of jumpscare and then laughed but definitely not today. I just flinch a bit before staying silent holding myself close. Lovino sighed and walked over to me linking our arms together. "Here do you want to stay in your room or do you want to go to Gilbert's room?" He asks me as I look around. I might break down sobbing when I go to Gilbert's room so I just nod. "Here please," I softly requested as he nodded getting on the bed before gesturing for me to do the same. I crawled into the bed and he opened his arms silently giving me permission to hug him.
