Hellooooo💕 Yes I know it's been a while but I'm too tired after the bs we call school to actually work on chapters. But I hope you like this chapter as I also really enjoyed making it. I don't have much to say except for that so let's continue. Hope you enjoy this chapter💕❄️

⚠️Mentions of a bond or a mating bond. A little bit of gore. Just practically a lot of angst but also a lot of fluff nearing the end of this. Also mentions of sexual activities (Matthew moans. Just read you'll understand what I mean by then). Only talking about major character death. More of a Top! Matthew in this chapter⚠️

Matthew's POV

"That means Matthew will have to choose if he wants to save me but possible kill himself in the process. Or if he wants to save himself and let me die..."

I was shocked when I heard this. Wait is this supposed to be a hard question? The answer seems so obvious. Why is everyone making a big deal out of it. I look up at Gilbert and he was also staring at me worry clouding his eyes. "Matthew you have to think about this one before you decide. This is quite literally life or death here," Gilbert sighed but I can tell he already knew I have made a decision. "Why the answer is quite obvious?" I frown at him and snuggle into him kissing his cheek.

"I'll mark Gilbert, he doesn't have to mark me in return," I smiled as Gilbert chuckled softly seemingly because of how oblivious I am. "Birdie that won't help anyone. It means you will take my energy. It will only work if I mark you," he explained as my face dropped a bit. I snuggle into him whimpering. "But what about you...?" I talk to myself as Gilbert sighed and smoothed my hair. "Hey if I'm not here anymore Lovino and Antonio will look after you and make sure you remain happy," he explained as I immediately shook my head in disbelief.

"No that's not what I meant Gilbert... What will happen to you if I die...?" I explain as everyone stares at me surprised. Gilbert looks the most surprised and upset. "Well...I mean I will feel just feel...numb," he explain as I smiled at him and smoothed his cheeks. "Then it won't be that bad without me right? You can fall in love with someone new," I smile though it hurt to think about being without Gilbert. He lets out tiny whimpers as I hugged him close. "You'll be fine without me, please just mark me," I beg him as he hugs me closer to him. "We'll decide once we're home," Gilbert sighed as we signed out.

Doc seemed like he remembered something as he turned to us, I was holding Gilbert stable as he couldn't really walk properly. "Because of the blood tests we could also see which pack Matthew first came out of before getting involved with another. Or rather that's what I expected. His DNA is untraceable. Meaning either his mom or his dad was a rogue since there isn't a database for it," He explained as I frowned. "But I can remember I belonged to a pack beforehand, are you sure?" I ask as the doctor nodded.

Ludwig excused us as we all travelled to our separate cars. Ludwig, Kiku and Feliciano took their car, Lovino took Gilbert's motorcycle and Antonio, Gilbert and I took Antonio's car. We barely started our trip home when Gilbert already fell asleep. I didn't want to cry in front of Toni so I simply just held Gilbert close to me and nuzzled into him. "I can't lose you too Gil..." I whimpered and hugged him close.

Antonio's POV

I stare at the road before me as I anxiously tap the steering wheel. Of course I don't want to lose my best friend, I mean I already lost Francis I can't lose Gilbert too. But on that same subject Matthew deserves a chance to not be forced into something for once in his life. I look at the two and notice Matthew was holding a sleeping Gilbert close to him, clearly trying not to cry.
