Helloooo💕😋 Yup with the whole cliffhanger from earlier chapter I'm immediately jumping into the next chapter and finally after 32 chapters we find out who the alpha is as well as who the king, Queen and prince of chaos is. Also as the title suggests lots of flashbacks so prepare for that😁 Anyway let's get on with the chapter, also the song above reminds me of the queen of chaos's backstory

⚠️Although in this chapter they find out who the alpha is, no real abuse is mentioned, just the fact they are back to where they were. Again a lot of innuendos in this chapter. Also sorry if I got the dates wrong or something I just have no motivation and frankly don't remember when everything is explained and I accidentally deleted my timeline off my notes. A lot of flashbacks so get yourself ready for that one⚠️

Gilbert's POV

An hour or two went by and I still haven't seen Matthew enter the house again after his walk in the garden. Somewhere inside me worry pooled deep inside the pits of my stomach but I brushed it off as Matthew just staying in the garden talking to Antonio. I was finally done with work so I packed us each a bag so we can go running. We each need an extra pair of clothing and snacks if we decide to picnic like we usually do if we go running.

I take the bag (luckily everything fits into one bag so I didn't need to pack a separate bag) and walk out to the garden to find Matthew. Now the worry starts setting in as I couldn't find Matthew anywhere. I was just about to give up on my search for him and try to contact him through mind link but then I spot a trail of dead rose petals in Francis's maze. Antonio doesn't mind people using it he just can't stand being in it himself. But out of respect almost no one actually uses it, Matthew's curiosity got the best of him again.

I chuckle and follow the Rose petals planning on scaring Matthew when I get to him but soon the trail leads to a dead end. I was confused and looked around trying to see if Matthew was anywhere. I half expected him to jump out of the bushes to scare me but it never happened. And the trail ended with a whole scattered pile of rose petals. I look around confused trying to see if I find any traces of Matthew but nothing showed up except his lingering scent. He was here only a few minutes beforehand.

I gave up on trying to play his games mind linking him instead. No answer. Now that I notice it Matthew's scent wasn't in the pack area anymore and his wolf is completely gone, Gilbird can't even sense him. Now the worry feeling came back as I started running around the garden trying to search for him. I mind linked the entire pack trying to see if they knew where he was.

Gilbert:
Does anyone know where Matthew is?

Lovino:
You literally prohibited him from leaving the pack garden so he'll probably be there you bastard

Antonio:
Don't be so rude Lovi. He did say he was just going to be there waiting for you so I think he'll be there

Gilbert:
Well great news he isn't there anymore
-Sarcastically-

Ludwig:
What do you mean he isn't there?

Eliza:
Try looking at the gym, he has been saying he is tired of not being able to exercise a lot so maybe he is there

Gilbert:
Nope he isn't there... I can't feel his wolf or presence either. He also isn't responding to mind link... He isn't in the pack anymore
