Tori took the kids to play upstairs, while Tobias and I cook. We are making steak and green beans for supper. Dessert is homemade Dauntless cake.
Tobias comes in from grilling the steaks.
"A few more minutes." he says.
"Okay." I stir the green beans before I turn my attention to him.
He walks up to me and places his hands on my hips. He kisses me with love and passion. His kisses are always filled with passion. He picks me up and sets me on the counter and tickles me.
"Stop, Tobias." I giggle. Trying to swat his hands away. "Your making me horny."
"How do you get horny from being tickled?" He asks laughing.
"I'm pregnant. It is so easy getting horny when a girl is pregnant." I say.
"Wow. Okay. I'm pretty sure the steaks are ready now." he says.
"Okay. This is all ready, too. I'll get the kids." I reply.
"Okay." Tobias walks out.
"Kids! Dinner is ready!" I call to my four children.
"We will be down in a minute!" Tori says.
"Wash your hands!" I demand.
"Tris, your such a great mother." Tobias says putting his hand on my stomach.
"I know." I grin.
"I love you." he says.
"I love you, too." I reply.
"I love you, three." he adds.
"I love you, Four." I mentally slap myself for falling into that trap and not realizing it.
"I love you, Tris." He says. He covers my mouth with his, kissing it. I put the same force he gave to me and wrap my arms around my neck.
"Shh! Don't ruin the FourTris moment!" Tori whispers rather loudly. On purpose.
Tobias and I pull back and laugh.
"C'mon. I have places to be and people to see." Jake says.
"Me too." Josh says.
"Me three." Tori says.
That is true. They're all going to friend's houses tonight.
"And who said that the parents approve of the people you are going home with tonight?" Tobias say to Tori. I hit his arm.
"Daddy! I'm thirteen, and I'm NOT sleeping with him, and he is NOT my boyfriend. He is a boy-friend." Tori says.
I look at Sally. She looks at the floor. I walk up to her and squat down to her level. I put my pointer finger and thumb under her chin, making her look at me.
"What is the matter, honey?" I ask.
"Nobody cares for me." Sally says.
"I care for you, your father cares, and your siblings care." I say.
"Well, they are all going to a friend's house while I stay here." she says, tearing up.
"Your too young." I look at my other kids. "Y'all make plates. Don't make us one." I pick up Sally.
"What are you doing?" she asks.
"Well, Aunt Chrissy said that her and Morgan aren't doing anything tonight, and that we can have a girls night. Just you, Morgan, Aunt Chrissy, and me."
"Okay!" Sally says, excitedly.
