"Daddy?" Sally asks as she climbs into my lap.
"Yes, sweetheart?" I say.
"When can we see Mommy?" she asks.
"I don't know, honey. But when we do she will be asleep. So, we have to be very quiet. Okay?" I tell her.
"Okay." she says.
I remember the day Josh was born. Jake and Tori wanted to know where babies came from. Since they were too young for 'The Talk', I told them that the nurses found a baby in the baby room that looks like the momma or daddy or both.
"What's wrong with Mommy?" she asks.
"Mommy is having tummy troubles." I say. I poke Sally in her stomach when I as 'tummy troubles.' She giggles.
"Daddy?" she puts on her adorable five-year-old face.
"Yes?" I know she wants something.
"I saw this store. It sells puppies, and I want a puppy. Can we buy one?" she asks.
What?
Dogs in Dauntless?
I thought we couldn't have those. There was a rule saying no dogs in Dauntless. I guess that's changed. It probably has because of Tris.
"Do you know if Mommy wants one?" I ask.
"Yes. She told me." Sally replies.
"Okay. We can get one." I approve.
"Yay!" She exclaims.

I'm still waiting to hear from Will. I haven't eaten, nor has Sally, since this morning.
"I'm hungry." Sally whines.
"I am, too. Let's go eat." I say.
I put Sally on the ground, grab her delicate hand, and we walk to the canteen. Since Zeke and Shuana are already there, I leave Sally with them and grab two trays of hamburgers. I dress one up for me and leave the other one plain for Sally. I grab a diet coke for me and water for Sally.
Sally is suppose to stay away from caffeine and carbonated drinks. She can have one every once in a while, but not often. It'll give her hiccups and will make her heart work faster and harder than it actually can. The last time Sally had a caffeinated drink, a trip to the ER was called for.
I walk back to the table. I have Sally her plain burger and fries. I set her water in front of her.
"Thank you." she says and starts eating.
"Where's Tris?" Zeke asks.
"Go to the infirmary and let Will tell you." I say. Before they could ask why, I shoot my eyes down in Sally's direction. They nod their head.
"Okay." they say.
"Where are the kids?" I ask.
"Jake, Zack, and Cody all wanted to go to go to Ben's house. You know? Ben from school." Shuana says.
"Cool." I reply.
