Home Sweet Home

 The car comes to a stop on a street corner. I look across the street and see my childhood home. The little house that holds many memories.
I look at the boys and they look back. No words are exchanged only saddened looks and glances. 
"I'm ready." ,and with a matter of only minutes we were all at my front porch step. I sigh and knock on the door. As I wait for someone to answer I flatten my  t-shirt. 
I hear the door knob jingle and I flinch a bit. Ashton holds on to my hand and gently rubs his thumb over the top of my hand. The door opens and there stands my mom a her glass of tea hits the ground with a loud clatter. She engulfs me in a tight hug and begins to cry. 
"Autumn! We never stopped looking for you I swear." she says in between sobs. 
"Harold!" she hollers and I see my dad run down the stairs and stop in the doorway. Before I knew it we were all siting in the living room sipping iced tea and talking about where I was. 
"Well when me and Lou went to the Concert, She uh she went to find the bathroom and I got a little hungry so I wanted to see If I couldn't find something. So when I left, these guys grabbed me and everything went dark." My eyes started to tear up. I described what all had happened with the boys, but told them that Dollen and Jessie were the ones who had done it. 
"Everyday the would just do awful things," I began to sob. 
"Honey, what kind of things?" My mom asked. 
I looked at her with tear soaked eyes, " They would rape me and hit me everyday." My mom began to cry and so did my dad. I told them that the boys had went over to Dollen and Jessie's house to have a meeting and that's when Ashton found me on the floor chained to the basement wall. Ashton held onto me in a tight hug. I sobbed on his shoulder for a while. I guess I had fallen asleep in that time of crying. I woke up in my room and looked around. I looked at the clock on my night stand and it read 3:20 am. I looked over to see Ashton fast asleep on the sofa in my room.
        I walked over to Ash and straddled him and began to kiss him all over his face. He woke up giggling. 
"What are you doing baby?" He asked tenderly. I sat up a bit. "This is the last time I will be able to see you for a long time." He sat up and rubbed his eyes. "So what do you want to do?" I rolled my eyes and laughed. I got up and walked over to my bedroom door and locked it. 
I walk back over to Ashton and we hug and roll over onto the bed. We begin to make love, and which would be the longest time before we could do it again.  
"I feel like that may have been our best." Ashton giggles. I nod my head in response and walk over to my en-suit bathroom, with nothing on. I turn the shower on and invite Ashton in and he accompany's me. We look at each other's bodies remembering each freckle, crease, and formation. I can't imagine not seeing him for so long. I will truly miss him. " I love you so much Ashton. I don't even care about the past. I-I just want to spend the future with you." I say trying not to let my voice crack.
He plants a soft kiss on my lips, "So do I. And these last few months have been honestly the best in my whole life. We'll see each other very soon I promise." 

Two Months Later

"Mom!" I holler letting the vomit fall from my lips into the toilet. She comes up from behind me and rubs my back while holding my long blonde hair in a little ponytail.
"What's going on? You aren't sick are you?" She asks. "I don't think so." I grab a towel from the shelf and wipe my mouth. I walk over to the sink and brush my teeth. 
"Can you um," I look in the mirror and take a deep breath. "go and get me a pregnancy test?" She nods in response. About 15 minutes later she comes back with a small box. I take the test and wait 5 minutes just to be extra sure it worked. I look down and look in disbelief.   
I show my mother and she just assumes that it's my rapist's baby, but I know who. It's Ashton Irwin's baby.
