A pic of Kansen I drew ^.^

I was too lazy to color so just ignore my weird drawing and keep imagining her any way you want. I tried to draw Senai too but I haven't really decided her outfit so.......yeah.

The song is Frame of Mind by Tristam and Braken and it doesn't really have anything to do with this chapter but I like it. A lot. And I discovered it through a naruto AMV.

"Wake up, brat. How long are you going to sleep?"

Kansen's eyelids slowly lifted and revealed her black irises. What she saw was the same color, save for a small patch of dull yellow light coming from somewhere behind her. Sitting up, she remarked, "If you're telling me to wake up in my inner world I'm still going to be sleeping in reality, so what's the point?"

"Hmph. Having you awake in only one world is better than none. Right now you're being transported by a Grass shinobi through the village and bypassing a ton of battles. It's a wonder the noise hasn't woken you up yet, considering your heightened hearing."

Again with her back to the fox's cage she replied, "You can hardly blame me for being unconscious. That kunoichi knocked me out pretty hard. My head hurts........." There was a particular spot right above her right temple that Kansen was referring to, but her skull in general had a dull ache to it, and the edges of her vision blurred and doubled a bit whenever she looked at different places too fast(not that it made a difference right now since everything was pure black with a tint of reflected light from the floor). She wondered if she had permanent brain damage.

"It would be nice if you did have brain damage. I would have a chance of getting free. Oh and by the way, two Leaf shinobi have just intercepted your kidnapper. You should actually wake up now."

Following the bijuu's advice Kansen opened her eyes once again, except this time to a huge racket of metal clashing, screams, roars, and occasionally a stray jutsu flew by slightly too close for comfort.

She was fully awakened by the voice of her "kidnapper", as the Kyuubi had called it.

"You think you two can stop me? I'm one of the elite of elite jonin in the Grass village."

"Oh? If you're an elite then I guess the Grass is a pushover. This battle'll end pretty soon."

Hareto clenched her teeth in anger and leaped at the offender. "I'll show you who's a pushover!"

The voice, which Kansen could now determine to be female, issued a quick order. "Boruto, get the kid. Make sure she doesn't get hurt too badly, or you'll get it from me."

Get hurt too badly? That didn't sound good.

Heavy footsteps sounded to Kansen's right, and in a moment she was swept from Hareto's shoulder. What was it with people randomly picking her up today?! About two seconds later the Grass kunoichi was sent flying into a building hundreds of meters away.

"Oops, my bad. Looks like we'll have to pay for property damage again," the female voice stated.

Kansen looked up at the person that had picked her up, and her eyes widened at the recognization of her rescuer. Whisker marks, blue eyes, blond hair. Boruto Uzumaki, son of the Seventh Hokage and Hinata Hyuga.

Turning her head and wincing at the sudden movement, she glanced at her other savior, whose eyes were red behind red rimmed glasses. The Sharingan. Sarada Uchiha. The newly appointed Hokage.

These two were legendary, and what was the Hokage doing all the way out here? Didn't she have other stuff to tend to?

"In all this chaos, no one's going to keep track of a wrecked room or two. We'll be fine," the blond male said. "Well, whatever. So this is the Kyuubi's jinchuriki? She looks way too cute."

That particular remark, like many others, was met with a hard punch to his head, and Kansen glared at him as well.

"We'd better get going now, before that kunoichi recovers and catches up. She was harder to punch than I expected." Sarada turned around, and once again Kansen found herself being carried in the direction of the Hokage's office, the only difference being she was now carried under one arm around her waist, leaving her arms and legs dangling free.

Sighing, she decided to go back to sleep. It was more comfortable than attempting to focus her vision. Maybe she would be recovered when she woke up...........unless she had permanent brain damage, of course.

Ok, I ran out of ideas after that.
