Chapter 19

The sunlight that passes through the curtains suddenly touches my face and I feel the urge to cover my face with a pillow.

But when I was about to cover my face. I suddenly saw my wall clock and it reads that it is already 6:30 in the morning.

So I decided to get up from my bed and prepare myself for work a bit more faster since I woke up a little late.

After bathing, I wore my office clothes and while looking at myself in the mirror. I suddenly remember the unreturned blazer from Yena.

It made me feel furious once again since when I had my day off yesterday. Andee suddenly told me that Yena followed her on instagram.

At first look, it does not seem to be something to get angry about since it's just following a fellow. But when Andee screenshot her account and sent it to me since she kept on rambling how Yena is much of a bitch.

I saw her recent post with her picture on it wearing my blazer that she borrowed. She has a thick face I thought that time.

In the comment section it says that she is lucky to afford that kind of blazer. Because that blazer they said is only limited.

I was puzzled that time since I just bought it for only a few bucks. It does not even affect my card.

Getting inside my car, I put on the keys, let the car cool off for a few minutes and then I drove off to work.

I am already in my office when suddenly my secretary came rushing to me. She said that the heads of the departments will be having an emergency meeting.

I bid my thanks to her for informing me and I prepared all the papers that might be needed.

I went inside the meeting room and see that it is already half filled. Mingyu is still not here.

Since I felt no longer uncomfortable around opposite gender. I greeted all of them with a smile including boys.

They seemed too shocked since their mouth was agape and maybe in any minute their jaws will be touching the floor already.

I chuckled.

And that chuckle of mine created a ruckus inside the room since suddenly all people are whispering to each other loudly.

When suddenly a guy shouted.

"OMG! ARCHITECT LEE SMILED AT ME FOR THE FIRST TIME I FELT SO BLESSED."

All of us heard it and we all just laughed for we thought that his reaction is too exaggerated.

Minutes passed and Mingyu already came inside the room. But the first thing he did made me blush.

He winked at me and mouthed the words "I miss you".

I looked around to see if anyone saw him doing that but fortunately no one did since they are busy gossiping about what I did earlier.

Mingyu fake coughed to get all the attention and it worked since all of us suddenly stood up and greeted him.

Then the meeting started.

It was about a proposal that we will be passing to the Le messager de Dieu to make them our investors.

All of us will need to do something and I might be busy for the whole week because of it.

The meeting ended and all of them went out of the room. I was about to go out to when suddenly Mingyu pulled me back.

"Let's eat lunch here." He said while smiling to me showing his canines.
