I give up. All sources I tried ended up in the same loop and nothing comes out of it. I ended up wasting my three months and my holiday break for nothing. Kainis!

And now were back to school again, thinking about future plans after Sir Zeke dropped the bomb about counseling. And also, my birthday is coming up. It was three days from now and I have no plans on how I'll celebrate it. Do I even plan to?

"'Wag mong basahin laman ng utak ko. Porket nakaya mo ng gawin 'yan."

"Ngayon lang sorry na."

I ignored her and continued my way to student council office kung saan naghihintay na naman ang sandamalmal na mga papeles. And I also remembered na a month from now prom na namin. Seriously, isa na namang event na kailangan naming asikasuhin. I grumbled after I opened the door.

"Bad mood, umagang-umaga." Angela commented as soon as I enter the room. "By the way, good morning kung may maganda sa araw mo."

"Good Morning..." I greeted back with my laziest tone. I slumped to my seat and checked the papers on the table.

That would have been hectic and a mess.

"Kailan ang counseling mo?" I asked.

"Ako? Next week ang start di'ba? Sa Monday." Sagot niya. "Ikaw ba?"

"Same day." sagot ko. "Sinong pupunta sa'yo?"

"It's either si tita or si mom."

"Si papa sa'min eh."

"Why am I not surprise."

"Good Morning." bati nila ng sabay. We greeted both of them back.

"Monday, same ng inyo."

"The king himself?" I wondered.

She nodded slowly, forcing an awkward smile. We took deep breaths and prepared ourselves for that day. And now that I think about it, it might be a day where everything could go wrong. I mean, literally. The bell rang, sign that classes will soon start.

I've been thinking a lot these days. Tungkol sa future. Ever since inanannounce 'yun sa buong klase, my mind suddenly went into "overthinking the future" mode. I haven't thought of the future yet and look what's happening to me now. Alam ko na ang balak kong kunin in the future which is creative writing. Being a writer is what I aspire to be. But because of the circumstances going in the way, lalo na ang patungkol sa Book of Magic, hindi ako sigurado sa plano ko sa future.

I don't know, its just that the whole topic and subject of the Book of Magic and everything around it lures me in. That there is something more I need to see, something I need to do.
