Deku's POV
I finally have on my black, green and glimmering gold tight costume on. I was wearing a black choker, with a green glowing emerald in the middle. A black off the shoulders costume that connects to a silky black, short, skirt hanging off only to cover my back side. The bottom half of my shirt was was cut into a 'V' shape, to show my stomach. I was then wearing black leggings. Along with green ballet shoes. Lastly, I was shimered down in golden sparkles, so every time I moved it was golden glitter on silky black. I searched through my bag for my long black silky ribbon.
Where is it, where is it?! I started getting more worried by the second knowing the crowd was getting restless.
"Five minutes left Mr.Midoriya."
I haven't even stretched since Kacchan's performance! I could feel myself becoming anxious. I wanted to cry, but I have to stay strong...
"When is the next performance? "
"I can't believe I only came too see mostly trash acts! The last one would've been good, if he didn't break an actual leg!"
"How much longer is this going to take?"
"If nothing happens in the next five minutes I'm getting up and leaving."
"Midoriya, why aren't you stretching?" My coach asked with concern lingering in her voice.
I finally broke down. This was my chance to prove I could make it to UA!
"M-Midoriya-!" My coach shouted running to my path to comfort me during my mid-life crisis.
"I-I'm so sorry" I cry out choking on a tear.
"What happened? Do you need some water or-" she was quickly shut up by my tears rolling intensely down my freckled cheek.
"I lost it...!"
Bakugou POV
"Where is the nerd? Shouldn't he be out already?" I stated with a hint of an unsettled tone.
But really, who am I to judge the nerd for being nervous and late? He's still a useless Deku, either way.
"WE APOLOGIZE FOR THE WAIT.
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN.
HERE WE PRESENT OUR NEXT PERFORMANCE.
REPRESENTING
IZUKU MIDORIYA
A BALLAT DANCE TO,
YOI SINGLE.
PLEASE GIVE HIM YOUR UNINVITED ATTENTION"Applause.
Let's see what you can do, you damn nerd.
The first thing that seemed off was that, that wasn't the same ribbon he's been using during practice. We only just started and he already messed up. Although, the ribbon was a beautiful gold, better then the ragety thing he was using. Out of nowhere, it lit up in the dark surrounding him. The crowd gasps in shock. I was so baffled, I was speechless. The LED light gold ribbon, was actually the ribbon that hung off the ceiling in the practice room. What the hell... Every time he leaped in the air, it made me a little more nervous. It was higher each time...
Perfect landings.
Perfect spinning.
Perfect angles.
Perfect.
Perfect.
Perfect.
He was perfect.
I watched as the graceful black and gold wrapped around the green leaf, did his last stunt. Just like he was gliding in the wind.Everyone stayed there in silence as the music stopped.
Deku still in his pose. All that could be heard was the nerd's heaving breathing throughout the auditorium. The crowd jumped up in awe, clapping up a storm, cheering, throwing flowers at the beauty in front of us.
I just sat there, still in silence.
He finally looked over at me. This whole time he didn't look at me once. Not even a peak. Why the fuck would I care?!
I was getting more pissed by the second. I hit my chair, pushed everyone out of my way and left.Damn Deku
