Deku POV
We continued going to various game booths for the next hour. I'm surprised Kacchan brought so much money! I wouldn't really understand why... but anything is fine with me! I stuffed the last prize in my bag as we left the last prize booth.
"Oi, did you want to stop and rest for a bit? I know damn well your scrawny legs are worn out." Kacchan said stopping in his tracks.
I looked up and smiled as the sun beamed behind him creating a peak of light on my face beyond the shadow. "I wouldn't ever get tired of this!"
D-Did Kacchan just... blush!?
"Ehm, w-what I meant to say was-" I was quickly interrupted being knocked down to the dusty dirt.
"Yo! I'm am so sorry! That was my ba-" I looked up to see a bit of red. "Mido-bro! Whats going on? Crazy to run into you here!" I seen Kirishima extend a hand out to me. Just as I was about to grab it Kacchan grabbed him by the shirt and pulled him away.
"Watch where you're going shitty hair!" He barked lifting me up.
"Now this is a sight to see! We thought you weren't coming!" Kirishima exclaimed pointing fingers.
"We?" I questioned.
"Yeah! The whole squad! You understand don't you Mido?" Kirishima looked down and seen Kacchan and I holding hands. " Ohhhh, I see now~" he covered his mouth, almost looked like he was fangirling. "Mina would love to hear about this one! Hu, hu, hu~"
"Tch. Beat it." Kacchan pulled me behind him in a protective position.
"No need to get so defensive! Both Denki and I are doing the same thing! It's all good." Kirishima bent down and winked at me. Why is everyone winking at me today? Is there something on my face? Oh, I hope not.
Kacchan scoffed once more as he dragged me away not giving me a chance to say goodbye.
I looked behind me to see him waving in the distance almost making out what he's saying.
I could still feel some blood boiling in the air. It's a bit too early for food, and it's way to early for the dance performances. Face paint maybe?
"Hey, Kacchan." I say in a quiet tone not wanting him to get anymore upset.
"Hmm?"
"Cover your eyes."
"What? What are you up to?" He sounds pretty suspicious. I should play this off. There is no way he'd do face paint.
"Do you trust me?" I ask standing on my toes, tilting my head, inches away from his face.
"No." I quickly covered his mouth.
"Say no more!" I used my hand to cover his eyes as I guided him to the face paint stand.
"What's this stale ass smell?" I grabbed the brush dipping it in the water completely ignoring him.
"OI, DEKU!"
I jumped a bit, dipping the brush too far into the paint.
"It's just your upper lip, now be quiet." I slowly stroked his face with the brush.
Bakugou POV
What was that cold tingling feeling?
"HAH?!" I flinched and looked down to see how close the nerd was to my face. I began to shift around in my seat, slightly uncomfortable.
"Don't move. I don't want this to be messed up." he whispered.
"Sigh, just tell me this comes off within an hour."
"I make no guarantees, Kacchan. " I felt another cold stroke slide across my face causing a shiver up my spine. He's close. Way too close. Does he really need to be leaning his body against mine like this?
"When I'm finished you can do me." I nodded slowly in agreement. I mean fair enough, right?
"Are you done, yet? You're slow enough as it is." I eagerly anticipated.
"Almost..." I could feel him slowly swipe his thumb against my lip. This is starting to be too much, even for me.
"Done!"
"Finally! Took long enough!" I snatched the mirror off the table only to see-
"Baka?" I asked irritated.
"Baka!" He smiled opening his hands with a surprise gesture.
I was hesitant. Is this really what took so long?
"Pfft... Bwahahahahahah" I held my stomach as the laughter escaped my mouth. This was so stupid, I couldn't really comprehend it all at once.
"What's so funny? Should've I used orange instead of green?" I couldn't tell whether he was asking this genuinely or not.
I grabbed his arms and pinned him down where I was sitting."K-Kacchan?!"
"My turn." I gave with a vicious grin.
Not even five minutes passed and I finished.
"Done." I smacked my hands together and admired my work.
"My boke? Seriously?" the nerd said peaking up from the mirror
" What? You don't like it? You shouldn't complain. Unless you don't like the color. " I imitated.
"Well, shouldn't I do something like " 'my', too?" Deku got up holding the paintbrush ready in a battle stance.
So, this is how you want to play it huh, shitty Deku? I snatch a paintbrush and we started throwing sticky cold paint, all over each other. We both avoided our master pieces, though. Painting around it.
"Hey, you two! Enough!" I man quickly dragged us away from the paint stand giving us both a good scold.
The old man eventually marched off and we both gazed at what we did to each other. We looked like a damn Care Bear shit on us.
"Pfft." We both initially started laughing simultaneously. Yeah, we looked like a bunch of idiots but, isn't that the point?
Everything felt so light hearthearted for us.
