Next Day
Bakugou POV

"Due to the recent activity of the League of Dancers being caught, for safety measure of this school has set up dorms around the campus for all of you." Aizawa yawns sluggishly.

I watched everyone around the class cheer in joy. I glance back to spot a certain someone behind me sit there gloomy starring at his desk. He gave off a serious pessimistic vibe but even I hope the dorms will brighten his spirits some.

I took a blank paper out of my bag and wrote on it.
'I donut want you to be mad anymore.'
I drew an angry impersonation of a donut me underneath it while adding,
'Bum, Dum, Tiss.'
I crumbled the paper in my hand throwing it over my shoulder. I had a good idea it hit his head from hearing the small, 'ou' sound he made. Following after was a few small giggles and the paper being placed back on my desk.
It read,
'that was a really dry attempt at a joke.'
I scoffed smirking to myself accomplishing lifting his mood.
A couple minutes later, a swift knock came from the door.

"May I see Young Midoriya for a minute?" Everyone in the class gasp seeing that lair All Might again since the partner performances. Deku stood immediately trudging his way to the door. My jaws slid side to side seeing Deku go off with him.

"Bathroom!" I stood up yelling causing everyone in surprise to stare at me.

"Go on, just don't take lo-" I ran out before I could hear the rest that could've been said. Both Deku's and All Mights voice could be heard in the hallway over from myself, so I peaked over the wall to eavesdrop.

"Young Midoriya please understand! That boy was just.... not his best potential." All Might attempts to reason.

"No, All Might, you understand. If you didn't want to coach him you could've just said so! But you did not have to go as far as saying he couldn't do it at all!" It took me by surprised to see Deku so angry. It makes me questions why he's so mad in the first place. The psycho tried to kill us!

"Young Midoriya calm down! Don't raise your tone at someone like me!" He got close to towering over the nerd. My reflexes moved in the moment stepping from the other end of the hall.
I grabbed Deku's hand when I realized he was shaking.

"I think we're done here, Yagi Toshinori." Deku glares telling steroid man off.

We walked in silence still holding hands in the halls. I finally decided to bite my tongue and speak up.

"You okay?" I ask letting concern escape my voice.

I felt my hand being squeezed as he gave a simple nod. I know it must've pained him to find out the person he seemed to look up to the most in the end was just a complete lie. I mean, that was all he talked about being. All Might. Who's he going to look up to now? Well, whoever it may be I'll be here to make sure the same thing won't happen again.

Deku POV

"Hey! Where were you guys?!" A voice that belonged to Lida shouted at the end of the long hall. "Class was dismissed for the rest of the day so we could get our dorms set and ready!"

"Woah, Deku. You don't look so hot." Uraraka added following not to far behind.

"You flatter me." I stop to speak with the group before me.

"We were told to bring you these." Tsuyu hands Kacchan and I keys over for the dorms, I presumed. They then directed us to the building over that contained the dorms we'd be staying in. I trail my way in the dorms, dragging my feet against the floor. I scoffed watching everyone playing around wherever my eyes made contact with. No one seemed to speak nor, come close to me due to my foul mood. The only one who was glued to me was of course Kacchan. I slip and unravel my hand away from Kacchan's to head down the hall to my dorm.

"D-Deku!" Kacchan worriedly expressed to me taking a hold back on my hand.

I glimpse back over at him not saying a word. I gave him a calming stare signalling to let go.

"Did..." He turned his head to the side scratching the back of his head. "Did you need any help...or..."

"No, Kacchan. I'm perfectly capable of achieving this one thing on my own." I witnessed his anxious aura slowly faded as his face tugged a small frown.

I pulled my hand away from his grasp, refusing to look at his next response. I couldn't bring myself to hear anything else to be said.

Am I fit to be a dancer anymore? Or was everything I believed just a lie?
