Bakugou POV

I positioned myself behind the enormous red curtain that stood before me until one of the directors signalled me the to go out. It was a vivid glow as the lights rained down from the staged. The loud audience cheers echoed across the walls of the large auditorium. Everything I've worked for all year, and this is it. I'm now confident that I'm better now then we're I stood before. I can't give all the credit to myself, though...

I wore baggy silk black sweatpants. Along with that, red belts to wrap around my waist and legs to complement my reflection. I had two different solid colored shoes, red Jordan's and black Jordan's. I then wore high rise black socks underneath it. Above my torso, I wore a crimson red crop top with a black jacket zipped half way to hang over my crop. A couple large gold chains that once belong to my mother, hung around my neck. Next, I had earrings to dangle off my ears and another small black earring pierced above it. My nails were then painted black to go with the rest of the fit. I didn't want makeup, but Deku was too persistent and refused to give up on plastering it all over my face. I gave in, only letting him do a tad of highlighter. The only color that stood out was a ring, a green tinted ring Deku handed to me offering it as a lucky charm. I wonder how long he's been anticipating to give this for me...

Of course I didn't have the money for all this rich boy shit, but the old hag I call mom refused not to go all out on me. I wouldn't be surprised if she's expecting bigger prize money after this. Maybe she just might be genuinely cheering me on. Now, would I say we went over board? Nah, gotta stand out some way, right? In the end though, it won't matter what I wear. It'll all come down to my dancing.

"Fumikage Tokoyami, you may exit the stage now.
Up next, Katsuki Bakugou. He is representing the school of U.A. High. You mind saying a couple words of inspiration?"

Oh hell no. Is that who I THINK it is?! All Might, Endeavor, Hawks, and Best Jeanist. I fucking forgot they're in their prime of high society against all other professionals.

I tapped on the mic a couple of times till it started working with high pitched noises.

"Ehm, yeah. I'm just here to be the best of the best out of all these losers." I claimed with a straight face and a bloated ego.

The crowd gasps in shock and among the crowd someone didn't gasp with surprise. He sat there with his hands in his lap anticipating my performance with a warm smile. My heart kick with a flutter. Tch, please don't tell me my face is red right now...

"I'm also doing this for someone...special I hold dear to me..." I add, now fidgeting around some. I thought as if I said this I'd loose my dignity...but really...it feels the opposite.

The crowd awws however this time it was Deku's turn to be in a startled gasp.

"and what will you be performing for us tonight?"

"I'll be break dancing to something I made called...Kacchan..."

"Alright then, Young Bakugou, are you ready?"

"I'm ready to show you all you extras up any day."

"You may begin."

The lights dimmed all around me until one directly flashed upon my face.

I started off with an easy but fast paced six step. I had approximately 2 minutes to perform and dance to the current song playing. My next move was a Brooklyn Rock, hopping to the right side with the right leg and mirroring the move with my left leg. The move is all about hopping forward first while your hands are tucked behind you back and elbows pointing outwards. Kick with the left leg, slide the right leg back, switch. So, it makes you seem like your walking both forward and backwards. Last part of the move is putting your hands on your thighs while busting down but continuing to stay on your toes. Then you go back up to the original move. I went to an immediate power move for an AirFlare. This is where you push yourself off the ground upside down into the air and spin while doing so. I quickly moved on to the next stunt as I felt light headed from the blood rushing to my head. For a body rock, I went for more of a body glide. This move required for swinging my legs to glide enough momentum for turning.

I glace my flaming red orbs over to something more softer. Deku looked excited even so, it was obvious he was nervously shaking. C'mon nerd...you see me practice all the time. Alright, no holding back, then.

My next move was a K-Kick. I shifted my legs up in the air with one arm up making a 'K'. This was very much intentional to stand for, 'Kacchan' or, 'Katsuki'.

The crowd cheered in impression. Ha! You haven't seen nothin', yet!

Upcoming was a little something called a freeze. I went for a bridge freeze with myself laying down on my back, with both hands by my head and my feet tucked into my bottom on the ground. I pushed my hips up with an arched bridge facing upwards. The crowd whistles and hollers as I unzipped my jacket while doing a kip-up. A kip-up is normally the quickest and most impressive way to get off the floor and in my case, I made it twice as good. All my energy was exploded upward and outward, thrusting my pelvis into the air.

Deku POV

My face heated as I seen Kacchans months worth of rock hard muscular abs in view for the whole world to see.

"Showoff." Todoroki comments unamused as of being next to me.

I glare over and placed a finger on my lip. "Shh!" I demanded. This is a very important moment of his, Todoroki-kun shouldn't judge right now. However, deep, deep, down something inside me felt slightly... Irritable. I wouldn't quite say sad...but... Oh, I don't know! I shouldn't be worrying about that right now. All I know is, I'm happy for Kacchan and that's all that matters, right?

Bakugou POV

I swung my self forward in a fine crisp for my last move. That's it, it's over. These scores will determine where I'll be placed in a dancing society. These scores also represent who I'll get an internship with. That is, if I do get one. The crowd then stands for the applause. The lights slowly but surely came back in. I glace back over in the crowd do find the nerd a sobbing mess.

Pfft, what a crybaby. What did I tell him before we even got here again?

"You may exit the sta-"

Without a second thought, I jumped down from podium and dashed over to Deku.

"H-Hey!" The announcer continued in confusion. I mean they did say I could exit the stage, just not where.

Deku met me half way squeezing through the crowd then into my arms in a tight embrace. I let him cry out into my shoulders as I felt tears coming on as well. Of course I sucked it up, though. I won't make an embarrassment of myself a second time on TV as I did back in middle school. Speaking of which, this does give me quite a bit of nostalgia. Just with a different twist of events. A better outcome per say. I gaze my eyes back down to both see and hear Deku mumbling whatever he was saying. I stroked his head then planted a kiss right on top, nuzzling into the warmth of his soft hair.

Yeah, a way better ending I would never want to let go.
