Bakugou POV
After my nerves calmed down some, I finally decided to hop out of the drivers seat a check on Deku. I trudged my way to the back, dreading to witness what's back there. Soon as I started opening up the back doors, I was jumped-kicked by no other then a flying Deku.
"THE FUCK DEKU!" I yelled out at the throbbing pain in my head.
"KACCHAN!" He ran over to me in relief. His hands tied from what I could guess that crusty guy who was with him. Dabi was it? My eyebrows scrunched at the certain injuries he obtained. Deku was bleeding from his head from all the knocking around while the van was driving. So I hoped that was all. He was shaking erratically like a leaf. His eyes, big puffy and red with tear stains on his cheek. He has always been a crybaby, hasn't he? I quickly untie the rope that was holding his frail, slender, wrist together. I could only imagine how exhausted he was. I could go another round of it if it meant saving him again! Although... Let's not. When I finally untied it, I caught his limp body. We both slowly slid down next to the van, holding one another, afraid of letting go.
"I-I'm s-sorry Kacchan. Hic." He murmered shivering, and trying to wipe away a flood of tears leaking from his emerald eyes.
"Deku stop crying. It's over." I scolded, more or less making him feel better.
We stayed in each other's grasp for what seemed to be hours on end. I never want to let him go. Never again. My eyes stung. No, no fucking way I'm crying. I would have to come out of the devils ass before that happens.
"Kacchan?"
"Deku?"
The moonlight was beaming down on just the two of us.
"I wanna go home..." Deku mumbles griping my bloody uniform.
I tightened my hold. Go home?! After all that's happened?!
I groaned we really had no choice. We helped each other up and we first came to his house. I told Deku it was in his best interest for me to stay the night before anything else happened. He immediately nodded, opening the door to let me in. I heard a shriek from the room over. Here we go."IZU-BABY, KATSUKI, WHAT HAPPENED?!" A familiar voice spoke in a frightened tone as she covered her mouth.
"Auntie Inko, I can expla-"
"It was my fault." Deku finally replied.
The room went silent. The air so thick you could cut through it.
"Deku wh-"
"I was taking a walk with Kacchan... a-and we came across... A wild raccoon.." Really was this all that stupid nerd could think of? How dense would you have to be to believe this BS.
"O-Oh okay... But please stay away from that ' raccoon ' for now on, okay? And please Katsuki, if you haven't already, text Mitsuki and tell her you're staying over tonight. I don't want you walking alone as late as it is."
I simply nodded and texted the old hag.
Deku POV
I don't know what happened. Everything went by so quickly, I was completely stunned. Now I have the scars to prove it. I told Kacchan I was going to warm up the bath and to come in there with me after It's filled. Without remotely looking at me he nodded, waving me off. I gave a soft smile and walked away towards the bathroom. When I came back to retrieve him, I came across a pampered Kacchan. He was being showered down with treats. What he really should be showered down with was a hose. He was covered with blood, dirt, and painfully looking glass.
"EHM." I coughed to get their attention. Kacchan looked relieved to see me. He got up and surprisingly thanked my mother for her kindness.
"Took you long enough, shitty Deku." Kacchan taunted.
"Oh, so you don't want this bath with me?" I playfully nudged him.
"When did you get so perverted?" He chuckled.
I only laughed and pushed him inside.
Maybe it was okay that this happened. Maybe, just, maybe. It made us closer than ever before.
