Bakugo POV

Life has been in my favor plenty these past 2 weeks. My long lost lover comes back in my life, I don't actually have to leave Japan, and last but not least, I got my career I've always dreamed for. Right when I began to assume that these slow, dreadful, years was all it was ever going to be from then on. Although, as these previous two weeks went by all but in a flash, it's all been only but a quick coming dream. As to speak, we'll be introducing ourselves as the new judges for dancers this holiday, working our way up to the top face on the food chain. For, of course, we'll still be dancing on our own.

Seemingly, Christmas is right around the corner, as well.

What if not a better time to do, it.

It seems as if everything is falling perfectly into place to do so.

I reminisce mostly out loud, which could only be seen as out of character to some. Especially to my significant other.

"Kacchan? Why are you blabbering about? Shouldn't that be my job?" A certain nerd pokes at my head curiously.

I quickly snap out of my lingering thoughts, which are called thoughts for a reason. "Ehm" I cough into my fist. "What'd you want for Christmas? Actually, let me rephrase that. What can I spoil you with that you never get enough of?"

The eye candy I call a boyfriend, sat there contemplating the peculiar question. "Eh, well I got all I want. Haha, I suppose I can never get enough of you." He scratched his face with his index finger as he blushed only a tad. "-and you?"

I had to think upon the same question. There isn't exactly anything I was personally wanting. I mean, come on. I have everything I both ever wanted and needed. Well, there is something we both could have... I just need to set it up.

"Deku."

"Yes?"

"How about tonight, before Christmas, I have somewhere special to take you."

He looks at me inquisitively. "Why the night before Christmas? It can just be any other day when we're not working."

I shook my head. "No. This is more important and cannot go wrong."

He was taken aback a little by the stern tone that crept the back of my voice. "What is it? Some generic, cliche, love proposal?" The jerk, Deku, begins to laugh at my small amount of humiliation as my already deflated ego, started to deflate again somehow.

"W-What?! No, what the hell? Do I look like the type?" I clicked  my tongue while rolling my rosy eyes-turning back to what I was doing previously.

His laughter dies down into a small smile as he lights a cigarette before stepping outside the apartment into the cold snow. "No, but you sure do act like it."

I get up slightly irked, following him out. Once I reached the frosty cold from outside, I hovered over him. Before he could make any sly remark, I pinched the end of his cigarette, causing the fire to go out completely against my fingers. The drug falls to the ground as I stepped upon it underneath my shoe.

"K-Kacchan-! What the-"

I lean in close towards his surprised yet, bashful freckled face. I use my finger and thumb that previously out the dim fire from the cigarette to lift his chin.

A small smirk appears across his chubby chipmunk cheeks. "Admit you've fallen for me, Kacchan~."

I mimicked his emotions with my own. "Hn, I didn't fall you"
"You tripped me."

Our faces moved closer as our foreheads touched. We stared deeply into one another's glisten filled eyes. I wouldn't be able to explain the moment as bitter snow fell around us. Maybe, nostalgic-? I could only wonder if he's feeling the same.
