Deku POV
A couple months have seem to snap by at the of a click of the switch. Life was just a flash before the human eye. It felt like just yesterday Kacchan proposed on one knee to me as I did to him as well.
At least that's what I'd like to say.
Kacchan and I have been fighting.
But not just any fight.
Marriage fights.
We haven't even got wed yet, now we're on the verge of divorce.
Now you may be asking yourself, what the hell went wrong this time?
Well...
"Kacchan having the wedding a week from now is completely reckless! And why does everything have to be red of all color?!"
"Damn Deku, why can't we just go ahead and get married?! Speaking of the color police, why in the actual fuck do you want to do everything rainbow? I get we're gay but we don't need to shove it down everyone's throat!"
"Oh-ho-ho! So, do you just want to have one of those naked weddings then?!"
"I wouldn't have an issue with it if my eyes didn't have to see a bunch of floppy dicks and saggy tits!"
See what I mean? He's just being so...so...ugh! I don't even know!
I cross my arms and turn away in a very sour pout. What does he know? Doesn't he get this is supposed to be special for the both of us?
I would call professional wedding planners but, it of course, goes over our high budget of 85,000$. Personally, I'm saving the money for something that'd last a life time for the two of us.
I peak open an eye to see Kacchan harshly shove a chair while walking out with a phone in his hand, mumbling words of only frustration and annoyance.
Bakugo POV
Stupid Deku... I don't care how adorably frustrating you are. If we can't work this out, I'd hate to stoop down to these drastic measures.
I punched in the numbers as I was sure I was breaking the phone bit by bit. "Yo, long time."
"BAKUBROOOOOOOOO-" The other end shouted back causing a near ear bleed. I swiftly pulled away, unprepared for such a predictable impact. "WHAT. IS. UPPPPPP, MAN? WE THOUGHT YOUR ASS WAS PRANCING AROUND IN AMERICA. WHAT'S GOING ON?"
My face was kept as straight as I wasn't. I promptly hung up the other line and rubbed my dumbass head.
What was I thinking? Tsk.Ring Ring.
"You gone shut it now?"
"SORRY, Sorry, sorry... My bad, its just been so long! Seriously, what's going on?" Kirishima blabbered on the other side of the phone.
I scratch the back of my head, unsure of where to exactly start. "I, tch, err...how do I say this without sounding retarded as fuck?"
"Don't worry about it, bro!" Somebody in the background that sounded like good ol' Pikachu jeered loudly. "You sound like that every time we talk!"
Beep.
Yeah, bad idea.
Ring Ring.
Who's damn number is this-?
"I don't want your free vacation-"
"Bakubro! My bad again, man. Denki is acting wild lately and I had to put him in his place, if you know what I mean~" The sabertooth shark teased
"..."
"I'm wiggling my eyebrows of you didn't know~"
"Can I just get straight to the point?"
"Wiggle wiggle~"
"I want you and that airhead to plan my soon to be husband, Izuku and my wedding."
"WHAT?!" He squeaks, this time I was full on ready. "Sorry to break it to you, but I really don't think we can travel to America at the moment..."
"Were not-" I began without finishing.
"I mean, there has been rumours floating around the two of you were back in town but I never really invested too much time into it. You know, rumours will be rumours." He adds on implying.
I finally went in and interjected from his constant rambling. Kind of reminds me of someone. "We're literally living in Tokyo."
"WHATTTTTT?! DENKI, BRO! GET THE PLANNER!" Another voice calls in the far background, "DO WE EVEN HAVE A PLANNER?" The closer voice roars back, "WE DO NOW."
I rubbed my tired, dark circles and peaked behind the door frame. I could tell Deku was getting tired as well as he kept slowly slumping over.
"So, when is it? Spring, summer, autumn, next year?" The persistent Kirishima goes on.
"Next week." I answer bluntly.
Choking could be heard from the other line. "Uh, and Deku...How did he exactly respond to that...?"
"He didn't."
"Ehm, well...with the power invested in both me and Denki, we're at your full service." He responds a dab unsure of himself.
"Hey, uh, thanks." I rub the back of my neck a bit embarrassed, yet thankful. I want this to be the most perfect and ideal wedding and who am I putting my trust in?
"Yeah, don't overwork yourself too hard! See you tomorrow!" He pipes before a beeping noise went through.
"Wait tomorrow-"
This time, it was his turn to hang up on me.
I hook the dying phone back on the worn charger, feeling dead inside myself. I walk back into the other room to witness a fluffed green ball sprawled out on the desk. A small smile creeps on my face as I took the rugged blanket off the couch and over his shivering shoulders. I kissed my love goodnight as I went to a deep clean on the house.
Someone's gotta do all the work around here.
I might be a top but that housewife work is on me.
