5 Years Later
Bakugo POV

It was a harsh winter cold as ice in the mist of December froze over the land. The time where everyone cuddles under a warm kotatsu or by a heated fire place with loved ones.

Not for me, though.

I shoved in another toothpaste bottle before closing my bag.

"Sigh. Let's get this over and done with."

I walk out of the apartment at a dreary pace, leaving the keys to my door at the front desk.

"No, Bakubro! You can't leave us, too!" Kaminari and Kirishima busted out their apartments, knowing the sound of my creaking apartment shut. They both gave me the hugest hug I've had in a long time. Something I dearly needed from the lack of affection.

"Tch. You guys got to drop the habit of calling me that. We all have to grow up sometime soon." The inseparable pair grip tightened around me in a distraught pout. I sigh again and hug back with warm sympathy. I was able to nudge their gross, bawling, faces off my now damped hoodie and escaped into my car. I turned on the ignition and pull out for the very last time.

My next stop, and my last, UA High. I bowed to Aizawa and thanked him for all he's done to be in my life. He probably assumed he'd never seen the day. I also met up with Best Jeanist, as I wouldn't be where I'm at in my skill set without him and his internship.

The sun was nearly setting to the cool evening, windows rolled down to let the vibrant colors in. The light, cold, wind blew in my face and along my spiked ash hair. I peered through the window seeing the outdated cafe. This will be my last time ever staying here...

Hell, why not. I walked in, the door bell ringing. I look around, nostalgia filled the air in the room. The fresh scent of diner dinner and biscuits was a pleasing smell. The cafe stage still stood where it was always has, just a tad old and rusty. So did the seats we all used to sit in and talk about conversations full of empty words. Although, I never forgot any of those meaningless long talks.

Take it in while it lasts, Bakugo.

The cafe looked about the same as it did a couple years back, just with more up to date appliances. Uraraka and Tsuyu were chatting with among one another at a table sipping on their hot chocolate without a care in the world. I slightly smile to myself before walking out with not another word. Wouldn't want to ruin that for them.

I checked the gas in my car before parking by a near by gas station. I filled my car with gas as I peered through the gas station window, a TV. There was an ad, I didn't have much interest in. All it was, was damn Icyh-, Todoroki. He never did follow in his fathers foot steps. Instead, he became a choreographer, creating his own piece. Glad he didn't end up as that piece of shit.

Across the gas station was a small dance studio meant for children. lida walked out waving everybody goodbye and good luck. I seen two children that looked oddly familiar. As they remind me of someone. I just can't connect the dots...

Tch, come on Bakugo snap out of it. I'll never get over it at this rate.

My journey was almost to an end as I pulled up next to the hospital. I took the bouquet out of the drivers seat and headed inside.

"You doing alr-"

"So, it's true!" Mina screeched. "Denki and Eijiro weren't lying...!" She attempts crawling out of the white bed instead, stumbling forward onto the hard floor. I threw the bouquet down and ran to her aid. I slowly help her back onto the comfy bed.

"You need to be careful! I know you're getting used to the new prosthetic but you could seriously injure yourself. You only have one damn leg!"

"And the verdict?! Do you think I'm just going to sit here? I'm still able to dance, just give me some time." She snaps her head away while stubbornly crossing her arms. "Not even flex tape can fix a missing leg."
