You and Junior were both camping out. You've made it at least half way before the sun began to set. The one thing that sucked about camping out in a open field, it's that there's no trees around You couldn't start a fire because of this. And to add on to that, you were in the of winter. You were glad that no snow decided not to fall this year. You didn't think about grabbing a blanket even though you knew that you weren't going to make it to Ordon Village today. You were too busy rushing to get ready, that it didn't even cross your mind.
You laid on the ground with your head resting on your bag. Your right hand was resting between your head and your bag, while the other was resting on your stomach. Garnet was a close distance behind you, him laying down resting his head near your bag. You were looking up at the stars finding it to be peaceful. It almost made you forget about the cold that was viciously trying to rack your body. You were tired, and you were about to close your eyes soon. But something was holding you back.
You felt a pair of eyes on you for a while now. You looked over to your right, eyes landing on the stranger that decided to tag along who was staring right at you. He was sitting down one leg stretched while the other one was bent. He was leaning on his right hand giving you a curious look.
"You still haven't told me where we're going." He said yawning from laziness or tired, whichever one it was. You didn't know.
"Ordon Village." You said not caring about the information you gave away right now.
"Ordon? I've never been there." He said placing his left hand on his chin as he thought. "How's it like?" He asked.
"It's a peaceful, the people are very nice." You said looking away from him your gaze now fixated on the sky above as you smiled. "They've helped take care of me at one point."
"Really? How many times have you've been there?" He asked.
"Only once."
"And they've taken care of you?"
"Yes."
"How did they do that?"
"You ask a lot of questions you know." You said turning your head to look at him once more.
"Sorry, I'm just very.... curious." He said locking eyes with you.
"Yeah, I've noticed." You said with a small smile on your face.
He smiled back at you liking the warm atmosphere that surrounded the two of you. 'It's just like old times when you weren't annoyed.' He thought remembering how sometimes you would actually talk to him. He liked those moments he got to share with you back then. He noticed that you were finally drifting off to sleep as your face was turned towards him, and your eyelids were slowly started to shut.
He waited until you were fully asleep to bring out a blanket that was still in his bag. He got up walking towards you. When he was very close, Garnet's head went up looking at him. The horse seemed to be giving him a warning. "Calm down there buddy, I'm just giving her something to help her keep warm." He said in a whisper to not wake you up. Garnet looked at him for another minute before he finally put his head back down.
Junior kneeled down above you, gently resting the blanket on top of your form. He would've loved to at least touch you, but everyone was so damn protective over you. He was pretty sure if Zelda were to find out he did something so scandalous, he would get his head chopped off. Even the horse was protective over you! He didn't understand. He should be happy that he was given permission to even look for you.
He let out a sigh, resisting the urges he had making his way over to his things. He sat back down, his horse who was for some reason a distance away, slowly made his was towards his owner. Once the horse was in close range, he laid down right next to him. Junior looked at him, before petting him.
