Remember me by raitzyel

Overal review:
This story is heartwarming but yet tragic in a way. Its about two ghosts who get a chance at a new life, one that makes the girl realise how much she took her fiancé for granted. The twist? She remembers him but he has no memory/recognition for her. They have been transported to a world that is unrecognisable to them, a world in which defys everything they belive in, a work in which two must live apart or at least for awhile - one can only assume. She must walk a path filled with cruelty and secrets to regain what she once had, a love that is so sweet - it is a shame it all seemed lost. A Korea romance/ historian romance.

Positives/What I enjoyed:
- One thing I must praise you on is your description. Not only is it well written but it really helps to set the scene and let the reader dive 100% into the book, we know exactly what the scenario, the characters and the costumes are like, making it easy to follow the story and get the feel for what it is trying to portray. (I also like how the descriptive is constant, right from the first paragraph)

- The music is a good method to help/endulge people further get into the mood of the story and the setting it is trying to create and I like this however I must let you know it is equally as readable without the music - the writing is that good ☺️

- You showed and didn't tell! This is hard for alot of people and you did it so well! You didn't just say for example "I'm scared" you fully described how the character felt by using their emotions and physical actions to describe the fear(or whatever emotion it may be) so well done 💕

-You wrote well in 3rd person, I know this may not sound that good of a compliment but personally it is as I personally struggle with 3rd person and don't know how one can actually write good in 3rd person... But you did!

Constructive criticism:
- Honestly, this book is so well written I don't have much critism to give(so here are some tips 🙃) However as a first you should definitely give yourself more credit because that can help your book go far, you seem to be very insecure about it(you might not be, its just the vibe I get😅) and you really shouldn't be it's so good, furthermore I wouldn't have even known your first language wasn't English! Out of curiosity what is your native/first language if you don't mind me asking?

- So 1 tip I have is to not start another book until you finish writing this one (though this is hypercritical of me as I do not follow this) it's a good thing to do if you are not good at keeping a regular update or/and you loose interest quickly as you may end up with a lot of unfinished books (like me!🥺) Though if you think you can do more than one then do do it 🙂

- Another thing I'd advise is knowing your punctuation. By this I mean know the difference between a comma and dash for example. A dash would be used in one case to give the effect of a longer pause rather than a comma to give a smaller pause. The reason I mention this is because I read the comments and saw some people commenting about changing the dashes to commas but I advise only doing this if it is for the correct effect (if this makes any sense😅)

- So a question I have is why did you put (in first chapter) "The afternoon sky" and "Once they were at" in bold? I didn't understand the reasoning behind this.

Overal thoughts:
Overal I really enjoy the story, it isn't what I expected it to be (in a good way) and I like how the chapters are long. I think I might even continue to read this book when I have the time because not only is it well written but it also has a good storyline. I think if you write the whole book so it's completed and then go back and edit/ add tweaks to it all after, then the story could really be something great/ has great potential in my opinion. I also like how it's set in a different/ original country e.g. I like how its based in Korea rather than America like most books - very original and creative ☺️

Personal rate: 8/10
Very good book, definitely worth the read.

Hope this review is ok , sorry I couldn't be much help but I think it honestly is great :)
