THIRD ERA 433. TAMRIEL, CYRODIIL.

An elven girl with golden hair and skin waited patiently in the Arena District of the Imperial City.

She stood on a large round platform, much like the rest of the city, it was made of white stone that had aged and crumbled in time.

The elven girls' name was Evona. She was waiting for her long-time crush, an Imperial man by the name of Toolius.

They were to duel, he bragged he could beat her with his eyes closed and she told him to prove it.

The time had passed when Toolius said he would come, she grew bored and began paying attention to the sounds within the city.

She heard voices, but not that of Toolius's.

Evona began slow-walking cautiously down the stone steps leading down from the dueling platform.

In view, on the road, traveling was two males.

The first was a necromancer elf named Drith, he was dressed in black satin clothes adorned with bones, he had a silver scythe on his back and a staff adorned with a skull at its tip, gripped in his left hand.

The second was a water giant named Tides, a large blue reptilian humanoid with a natural ability for frost magic, he was dressed in tribal gear with a staff secured to his scaly back.

Evona watched them for a few minutes, she thought they looked to be in training.

Her face lit up with an impish smile as she called forth her blinding powers of light, casting it down onto the water giant.

The light burned his scales, preventing him from frosting up.

The necromancer shouted at her, he shot a skull-shaped black orb of magic out of his staff which flew at Evona, shaping into a fist before punching her in the face and knocking her onto her butt.

Evona quickly regained her senses and stood up but they were already gone, they had vanished.

She tried to rack her brain for what the necromancer said to her before he attacked but she couldn't grasp the thought.

Sweaty vented hands that smelt of toots slid over Evona's eyes, blinding her.

"Guess who, my lil golden daffodil" Toolius beamed, showing all his yellow corn bucks.

"Ugh! Toolius! You were supposed to be here hours ago!" Evona whined, pulling his hands off her eyes and turning around to face him.

"I know, I know. I'm sorry... I just got, um.. caught up" Toolius said.

"Caught up with what?" Evona asked, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Umm... Nothin..? Doesn't matter, let's just.. pretend it never happened... ok?" Toolius said nervously, twiddling his cheese fingers.

"Ok..." Evona said, eyeing him suspiciously.

"You ready?" Toolius asked, backing up and unsheathing his sword.

"I'm always ready" Evona said, grinning.

She pulled out her daggers enchanted with light and Toolius held up his sword and shield.

There was a clash, and a bash, a smash and a dash.

They danced in the art of combat until Evona lost her footing, almost slipping and Toolius took the opportunity to bash his shield into her face, sending Evona crashing into the ground.

She laid there sprawled out on the ground, she looked at Toolius with hurt in her eyes.

"Evona, I... I didn't mean.." Toolius said, trying to apologize.
