Elliot panted as he ran, his paws thundering over the forest floor as he tried to outrun the pair of rouges behind him. They had invaded the cave he was sleeping in their lewd comments had disgusted both he and his wolf. He was still waiting to find his mate. Though if he did he would probably have to settle in a pack.
As a low growl sounded behind him Elliot pushed his legs to go faster. This was no time to be lost in his thoughts he needed to find a place to hide. He would much prefer it if he didn't have to kill today. It was just not in his nature.
A scent came to him as he continued to run, it was a pack border and it pulsed with power. Shaking his head Elliot decided that he would need to take refuge inside the territory until the pair of rouges gave up their pursuit of him.
With one last push, Elliot crossed the border. When he crossed a ripple of power went over his body. His wolf wanted him to howl in greeting but Elliot knew better they would think he was a rouge and attack him. Skidding to a stop Elliot turned to look at the two rouges they were pacing at the border their eyes looking at him with hatred, malice and something that Elliot couldn't distinguish.
Shaking his head Elliot turned away from them, his throat was burning in thirst. Following his nose, he found a small pond. As he walked over he kept his ears pricked for pack wolves. Leaning down Elliot lapped at the water sighing with content at the simple pleasure of water.
Leaving the pond Elliot walked over to a hollow tree and curled into the space. Burying his face under his tail Elliot fell asleep hoping that the rouges would be gone when he awoke.

Sparrow sighed as he continued his patrol. His father had given his position to his sister Harper after she had found her mate, Justin. Sparrow wasn't jealous he knew that his sister was first in line for the position. He still had the Delta position as his. Fourth in command and co-trainer to the pack along with the gamma. He was fine with the way things were but he wished he could find his mate too.
His wolf grumbling in agreement. Suddenly a scent on the breeze caught his attention it smelled like the sweetest of all honey. Following the Scent Sparrow found himself at the pond he would often drink from if he had a long patrol.
Putting his nose to the ground Sparrow moved around the clearing with deadly grace. His form was coiled and ready to attack if he needed to. Though his wolf rebelled at the idea of attacking the wolf who the scent belonged to.
He was about to give up and go home until a whine sounded to his left. Lifting his head Sparrow's ears swivelled towards the sound. Walking closer Sparrow's breath caught in his throat as he looked down at the dark brown wolf that was almost black. The scent that enveloped this wolf intrigued and excited both he and his wolf. Could this wolf be his mate?
Nudging the other wolf gently with his nose, Sparrow prepared himself for when the werewolf in front of him would open his eyes.
