As the days progressed Elliot and Sparrow were mating like rabbits to keep their minds off the infinite attack. Mostly it was Sparrow on top but now and then Elliot would top. Elliot had felt a shift within his body but he paid it no mind as he was too focused on what was coming.

Rolling over Elliot's nose picked up the scent of Donald and his minions closing in on the pack. Jumping up from the bed Elliot hummed as he realised Sparrow had cleaned him after their last lovemaking session. Shaking his head Elliot picked up some shorts before leaving the bedroom.

Elliot knew Sparrow wasn't in their cabin so he picked up his mate's scent and followed it to a training gathering. Elliot's eyes scanned the crowd and he realised they were preparing for battle. Elliot spotted the alpha's Damon and Dimitri and he didn't feel the need to run away anymore.

With them were Elijah, Brendon, Ian and Harper all standing away from the warriors as they discussed the possibilities as to what was happening. Sparrow was with them to his face a mask of anger and concern. Rushing over to his mate Elliot stopped as he reached the group of high ranking wolves.

"Elliot, are you alright," Sparrow asked as he used his fingertips to brush Elliot's hair out of his eyes.

"Can't you smell that? He is here and with a small army of rouges" Elliot explained a whine slipping past his mouth as he realised everyone was looking at him.

"Which side of the territory will they attack from," Sparrow asked without missing a beat knowing his mate wouldn't lie about the safety of the pack.

"Southeast" Elliot said knowing that Donald had already crossed the territory.

"Everyone, we go southeast, the rear guard is to stay here and guard the packhouse" Damon ordered before he shifted into his black wolf and the rest of the pack followed suit.

"You can stay in the safe room with everyone else" Sparrow offered as he rested his forehead against Elliot's.

"I won't do that, I finally have a place where I belong and I will fight by your side to protect it" Elliot whispered before placing a kiss on Sparrow's lips.

Stepping away from his mate Elliot dropped his shorts before shifting into his dark brown wolf. As Sparrow shifted into his light grey wolf Elliot bounded after the rest of the pack with Sparrow on his heels. As they caught up to the pack Elliot's nose picked up the stronger scents of Donald and his rouges meaning they were running straight towards the pack.

Elliot was light and nimble as he ran through the bush barely making a sound compared to the thunderous paw steps of the pack and the rouges. As the two sides clashed Elliot called upon his wolfs ferocity, anger and thirst for blood. Sharing his conscious with his wolf Elliot jumped into the fray landing on a snarling rouge.

As they toppled to the ground Elliot snapped his jaws in the rouges face as he tried to wriggle free. Wrapping his jaws around the rouges neck Elliot tasted blood as he ripped the rouges head from his body. Blood sprayed over his dark fur making it even darker as Elliot threw the head away before dodging a rouge that tried to jump on his back.

Turning around Elliot snarled at the rouge before barreling straight towards him. Elliot whimpered as the rouge managed to bite him on the shoulder. Turning the tables Elliot knocked the rouge onto his back so he had access to the rouges sensitive belly. Biting into the sensitive flesh Elliot didn't stop until the rouge stopped moving and his entrails were on the forest floor.

The reason Elliot didn't like killing when he didn't have to was that he always succumbed to severe bloodlust especially if his emotions were running high. Stepping away from the mutilated body of rouge a shiver ran over Elliot's spine as he realised Donald was not with the main fighting force. Growling under his breath Elliot took off towards the alpha.

Elliot didn't mind link the rest of the warriors as he knew they had their paws full fighting the rouges. Pushing his legs faster Elliot broke the tree line to come face to face with Donald and two rouges. Jumping on the first rouge Elliot ripped his throat out before they had even registered he was there. Turning to the second rouge Elliot dove under him before standing up and knocking him over.

As he killed the second rouge Elliot let out a whimper as he was knocked to the ground a few of his ribs breaking at the impact. Getting to his paws Elliot snarled as he stared up at the large dark grey form of Donald's wolf. Elliot cursed Donald for being an alpha, he was at least a head taller than him and had the muscles to back it up.

"If it isn't my favourite little delta" Donald sneered as he shifted letting Elliot see the injuries he had sustained fighting his beta.

"Why are you here, I am not yours, I never was" Elliot growled as he shifted a shiver of disgust passing over his spine as Donald's eyes roamed his naked form.

"You have been mine since the day your sister died" Donald snarled his voice hollow and lost.

"I have a mate and he is ten times the man you'll ever be" Elliot shouted his fists clenching as his claws elongated.

"Let's see if he'll want you after I make you my bitch" Donald sneered before he stepped forward shifting into his wolf as he went.

Shifting Elliot whined as Donald knocked him down. Elliot scratched and snapped his teeth but it was no use as Donald wrapped his jaws around his throat. Stilling immediately Elliot's tail curled up to his belly in submission.

"I love you" Elliot whispered through his mate link with Sparrow as Donald picked him up like a pup and started trotting away from the pack.

Elliot made sure to watch where they were going knowing that once he killed Donald he would need to find his way back. His heart hurt to think of the pain Sparrow must be feeling but Elliot needed to do this. Donald would die no matter what happened to him. And that was Elliot's last thought before they came to an abandoned shed.
