Chapter 16

Sparrow paced the bedroom his eyes fixed on Elliot's sleeping form. His mate had shifted into his human form as soon as he was put down on their bed. Sparrow growled again as he spotted the claw marks on Elliot's hips and the black eye that his mate had. They had got back hours ago but Elliot was still sleeping his chest rising and falling with a steady rhythm. The small whimpers that Elliot was emitting from time to time were breaking Sparrow's heart. With a huff, Sparrow stopped pacing and sat down on the bed.

"I love you so much Elliot, and nothing will ever change that. You are the sunshine that chases away the rain, you are my everything" Sparrow whimpered as tears fell from his eyes.

"I love you too" Elliot mumbled his voice still heavy with sleep. 

"Your awake" Sparrow breathed as he turned to face Elliot.

"I knew you would come for me" Elliot chuckled before wincing as his ribs got jostled.

"Always" Sparrow breathed as he turned to look at his mate. 

Elliot looked blurry through Sparrow's tears but he was awake. 

"There's no need to cry" Elliot whispered as he lifted himself up so he could wipe away Sparrow's tears. 

Grinning through the tears Sparrow pulled Elliot into him being careful of his mate's injuries. Nuzzling his head into Elliot's neck Sparrow breathed in his mate's scent. Sparrow whimpered as Elliot clutched onto the back of his shirt and started shaking.

"Elliot, are you okay," Sparrow asked only for Elliot to squeeze him tighter.

"I was so scared Sparrow" Elliot cried hiccuping as tears started to flow from his eyes.

"Do you want to tell me what happened?" Sparrow questioned his wolf whimpering as he didn't know how to take away his mates distress. 

"He told me it was all my fault as he tried to force himself on me. But I got away by blinding him. He ran after me and we fought. I killed him. What if he's right, what if this was all my fault" Elliot cried as his body trembled against Sparrow.

Sparrow's heart broke as Elliot cried into his chest. The raw pain and anguish coming from Elliot's side of the mate bond were suffocating. 

"It was never your fault Elliot and you shouldn't let him win by thinking that way. You're stronger than that" Sparrow soothed as he rubbed up and down Elliot's back in a comforting gesture.

"I couldn't have gotten a better more understanding mate could I" Elliot chuckled as he lifted his head to look into Sparrow's eyes.

"I love you Elliot and that will ever change" Sparrow hummed as he rested his forehead against Elliot's.

"I love you Sparrow" Elliot replied before gripping onto Sparrow's shirt and pulling him in for a harsh passionate kiss. 

The kiss was fierce as if neither had seen each other in days. It was as if both were desperate to prove the other was real. And their kiss quickly turned into a make-out session as Sparrow's hands tangled in Elliot's hair and Elliot's arms wrapped themselves around Sparrow's neck.

"Are you sure we should be doing this? Your still injured" Sparrow mumbled the question against Elliot's lips as Elliot wouldn't let him break their kiss.

"I want to forget what happened today, won't you help me forget" Elliot purred as he broke the kiss to nibble on Sparrow's ear lobe.

"Anything for you my love" Sparrow husked as he gently laid Elliot back on the bed before climbing over him. 

"You're my one and only Sparrow" Elliot stated as stared up at Sparrow his wolf growling in agreement. 

"I'll be gentle" Sparrow promised as he started placing peppered kisses to each of Elliot's wounds.

The giggle that left Elliot's mouth was music to Sparrow's ears as he continued to kiss, lick and caress his mate's body showing him that he was loved. Sparrow loved the small moans and gasps that passed out of Elliot's lips as he continued further down towards Elliot's cock. 

Sucking it into his mouth Sparrow groaned at the musky flavour that was all Elliot. He loved the taste and feel of his mate as did his wolf. As Elliot's hands tangled in his hair Sparrow hissed slightly at the burn of the tug. 

"Fuck, stop stalling, I'm ready for your dick" Elliot growled as his eyes flashed gold showing that his wolf was close to the surface. 

"I love it when you get all bossy" Sparrow husked as he seated himself at Elliot's entrance, pushing in but not as much as Elliot wanted.

"Fuck me like you mean it" Elliot snarled as he wrapped his legs around Sparrow's waist and pushed his mate into him. Moaning as his ass moulded to the shape of his mate's dick.

Sparrow groaned as Elliot clenched around him the warm wet heat of Elliot's slick entrance causing a shudder to pass over him. Thrusting in and out slowly Sparrow grinned as Elliot eyed him definitely. Sparrow knew Elliot wanted him to go faster but Sparrow was going to make sweet love to him.

"Easy Elliot, your body can't handle rough right now" Sparrow soothed as he continued his slow languid thrusts stroking the fire in his mate's body slowly

Leaning over Sparrow locked lips with Elliot to drown his mate's protests, increasing his thrusts slightly Sparrow fisted Elliots cock stocking it in time with his thrust in order to increase Elliot's pleasure. The only sounds in the room were their naked bodies slapping against each other and the moans and groanes stifled by their kiss. Sparrow came in Elliot with a growl as Elliot squeezed him involuntarily.

"I want you to fill me until you can't give any more" Elliot growled in Sparrow's ear as he pulled away from their kiss.

Nodding Sparrow continued his thrusting increasing his pace as he was sensitive from just coming. Sparrow watched as Elliot's face contorted in ecstasy before his mate came all over their chests. Watching his mate come undone pushed Sparrow over the edge once more and he came with a growl.

Looking into Elliot's eyes Sparrow realised neither would be getting any more sleep. And so they made love for the rest of the night confirming their feelings for one another and securing their bond. They have faced one of their biggest threats and overcame it and now Elliot no longer had his past chasing him they were both ready for the next chapter of their lives.
