Chapter 15

Donald glared down at the sleeping form of Elliot and a smirk came over his face as he watched Elliot's fur retract and he became human. Leaving his form open to Donald's roaming eyes. He had never touched anyone after Elliot had left because he was a loyal mate and thought that Elliot was too. 

Growling under his breath as he saw the pale mating scar on Elliot's shoulder along with all the love bites on his neck, back, chest and even his legs. What did that Delta have on an alpha? Donald was stronger and smarter and Elliot was promised to him by his the previous alpha after Elliot's sister had passed.

 He missed her so. The comfort and sanity that her presence provided had shattered the day that she died. To honour her memory Donald had wanted to mate with her brother so his future offspring would be related to her. Donald's wolf grumbled in disagreement but Donald quickly silenced him.

"Oh Elliot, if only you had been a good boy and bore my heir none of this would have happened" Donald snarled under his breath as he ran a hand through his messy hair.  

Sitting down in the only chair of the cabin Donald decided he would make Elliot see the error of his ways once he woke up.

Elliot woke up groggily chill going over him as he realised he had shifted into his human form while he was unconscious. Looking around him Elliot's heart froze in fear as he realised that Donald was sitting in a chair just staring at him unblinkingly. The walls of the small cabin felt oppressive to him.

"Look who's finally awake" Sneered Donald as he eyed Elliot with contempt.

"Why are you doing this" Elliot whimpered as he sat up and pulled his knees up to his chest to provide himself with some degree of comfort. 

"You brought this on your self, you were promised to me Elliot not the bastard who marked you" Donald growled his eyes flashing gold in his anger before he shook his head.

"I never wanted to mate with you, I never agreed to your father's plan" Elliot snarled his wolf giving him the courage to talk back.

"I lost everything after you left, My sanity, my chosen mate and my pack" Donald boomed as he stood up in anger making Elliot shrink back in fear.

"I never wanted any of this" Elliot whimpered tears springing to his eyes as he thought about the danger he had put his new pack and mate in.

"Fuck you were always so Sexy when you cried, today will be the day you finally yield to me" Donald groaned 

"Your sick Donald, you need help" Elliot whispered harshly as he glared into Donald's eyes. 

"I don't need help" Donald shouted as he walked over and punched Elliot across the face. 

Elliot fell onto the floor and before he could right himself Donald had captured his hands in a strong grip. A shiver of disgust ran over Elliot as Donald kissed him. The kiss was bruising and demanding and Elliot struggled to get free but Donald had his hands in a death grip. Biting Donald's tongue Elliot whined in pain as Donald punched him in the face twice. 

"Stop" Elliot screamed as he felt Donald's member nudging at his opening.

"This is your fault Elliot" Donald growled as he grabbed Elliot's hips extending his claws so he had a better grip. 

True terror ripped through Elliot's heart as he realised Donald had gone completely insane and would do anything he wanted. Strengthening his resolve Elliot made his claws grow. Slashing at Donald's face Elliot made sure to aim for his eyes. Donald reeled back while covering his face giving Elliot the opportunity to escape.

Rolling out of Donalds reach Elliot ran to the door, Opening it as Donald screamed in pain Elliot ran. Shifting as he ran Elliot's heart hammered in his chest. The fear he was feeling causing his blood pressure to rise abnormality. 

As Elliot ran he heard a roar of rage behind him. Donald was chasing him and Elliot knew he couldn't run forever. Turning to face the alpha Elliot realised he had blinded Donald and may have a chance against him.

Charging back for the alpha Elliot blindsided Donald. The alpha only skidded slightly away before he scratched at the air missing Elliot as he jumped back. Jumping on Donald's back Elliot bit into his neck. Ripping and tearing as Donald tried to shake him Elliot tightened his claws so he wouldn't fall off.

As Elliot continued to tear he heard familiar howls in the distance. But he couldn't get distracted. Biting down harder Elliot heard the crunch he was waiting for as he severed Donald's spine causing the alpha to fall. With his dying breath, Donald turned and bite Elliot on his muzzle before he fell away in a dead heap on the forest floor. 

Panting Elliot left the body and started to trudge away before he collapsed from the strain and exhaustion his body was in. Now that he wasn't in danger his body had shut itself down. Lifting his head into the air Elliot howled. He howled out his pain, his anger and his sadness. The answering howl from Sparrow caused Elliot's tail to slowly thump the forest floor as he knew his mate was coming for him.

"I'm coming to get you, Elliot," Sparrow said into Elliot's mind. 

"I know, hurry. I killed him, Sparrow, I'm safe" Elliot told Sparrow yawning in exhaustion as he did.

Elliot didn't need the next response as he spotted Sparrow, Dimitri and Damon break the clearing where the small shack was located. Getting to his feet Elliot tried to run to them only to collapse a few inches away from his mate. Luckily for him, Sparrow closed the distance and lay down with Elliot. Nuzzling into Sparrow's light grey fur Elliot let out a stressed whine. 

"I love you Elliot and none of this was your fault" Sparrow whispered licking over his mates bloodied muzzle. 

"I love you too Sparrow, can we go home now" Elliot replied with a yawn snuggling further into Sparrow. 

"Of course, Dimitri will carry you back" Sparrow hummed licking between Elliot's eyes.

Elliot was too tired to care and allowed Damon to pick him up and place him on Dimitri's back. As they turned around Elliot felt his eyes droop closed the adrenaline finally wearing off. Elliot hoped that when he woke up he would be back at home with his mate.
