"Sir we were unable to capture the wolf for you and two of my comrades were captured" The rouge spoke into the phone causing alpha Donald to let out a growl of rage.

"He is one wolf and there was three of you" Alpha Donald growled his voice deep and commanding.

"His mate and two alphas came to his aid" the rouge tried to explain though he feared angering the pissed off alpha further.

"I am his mate damn it" Donald growled into the phone his wolf trying to get him to see reason but he had fallen too far into his madness.

"I'm sorry to have to inform you but he is already marked and mated with the delta of the frostfang pack" the rouge reported.

Donald didn't need to hear anymore as he slammed down the phone with enough force that it crushed the receiver. How dare Elliot mate with another wolf he belonged to Donald. Without so much as an afterthought, Donald left his office to go running in his pack lands.

"Alpha you have to let him go he doesn't belong to you" Donald's beta Joe spoke as he stepped outside his eyes burning liquid gold in his rage.

"Yes he does, he's all I have left of her. He will carry out his duty to this pack and will then be put to death for his transgressions" Donald snarled at his beta as he turned to face the other wolf.

"You've become obsessed ever since she died, this is not you, your harming both yourself and the pack" the beta stated calmly staring down his alpha trying to get through to a man who was once his friend.

"I will not have my beta tell me what is best for my pack" Donald snarled as he launched at his beta shifting into his wolf in mid-air his clothes tearing as his form became bigger.

Donald landed on Joe's dark russet-coloured wolf snapping his jaws at the beta trying to go for the throat. He would kill his beta for second-guessing his judgements. Donald growled in irritation as Joe managed to dodge his first attack. Before the alpha had much more time to think his beta attacked.

They were a blur of fur teeth and claws as they fought giving no attention to the crowd that had gathered watching with bated breath for who would be victorious. In his haze of anger, Donald misstepped his attack giving Joe the opportunity to pounce on the alpha and wrapped his jaws around his throat.

Donald stopped struggling immediately as Joe increased the pressure on his throat curling his tail of his back in a clear sign of dominance. He was beaten, his beta had just challenged him for his position and had won. Now Donald truly had nothing left. Curling his tail into his belly and flattening his ears Donald submitted to the new alpha of his pack. The cheers of his pack mates making him sick.

"Leave here and never return, you will be killed on sight if you come back" Joe snarled into the mindlink before the connection snapped and Donald was let up.

Getting to his paws Donald ran away from the only home he had ever know. Joe's howl of triumph as Donald left the territory along with the howls of his pack mates confirmed that Donald had no home anymore.

His grey coat was covered in blood from the various injuries Joe had managed to inflict. His wolf had now gone silent in his mind knowing that his human had succumbed to the madness of losing his mate. It happened early but when it did it was intense and would ultimately lead to the death of the werewolf.

Shaking his head Donald thought of when it all went wrong. If Elliot had stayed and provided him with an heir Donald would still have the love and respect of his pack. It was all his fault that Donald was made a rouge.

With a snarl, he decided that Elliot would pay for his transgressions. Pushing his legs to go faster despite his injuries Donald came up with a plan. He would gather some rouges and cause Elliot's new pack to crumble and when no one was looking he would take what was rightfully his. With a wolfish smirk, Donald knew what his next move was going to be.

As Joe felt Donald leave the territory a shudder walked up his back. He needed to get word to Elliot that Donald was on the warpath. He didn't want to challenge his friend but the pack was beginning to suffer under his constant temper and anger. The infatuation with Elliot was not healthy and it was beginning to affect the decisions he made towards the pack.

Truthfully Elliot was a friend of his and he didn't want to see him get hurt. He was over the moon that he managed to find his mate and join a new pack after the trauma he had suffered at the hands of Donald.

Shaking his head Joe walked over to Elliot's parents. They were an omega couple, the female is called Ellie and the male is called Aaron. They were good people who raised both of their children wonderfully. It broke them when Elliot had to run away.

"Alpha" Aaron greeted bowing to the new alpha of the pack.

"No need for formality guys I'm still your friend first and foremost" Joe chuckled rubbing the back of his neck in an embarrassed gesture.

"What do you need," Ellie asked cutting through the small talk and getting straight to the point.

"I need you to call the frostfang pack so I can deliver a message to Elliot" Joe explained it finally safe for him to tell them where Elliot ended up.

"Yes of course" Aaron agreed without hesitation he needed to hear his sons voice again as did Ellie.

It didn't feel good to have kept his location a secret from them but he did it for their own safety as Donald would have used any means necessary to extract the information out of them. Nodding Joe and the omega's left the crowd of people to make their phone call. Joe just hoped Elliot wouldn't hang upon them. He needed to warn his friend of the potential danger he would be in.
