Chapter 1

Lauren POV
It's been a couple of days since my parents kicked me out. I was distraught. They are my family and the fact that they don't support me and my choices is heart breaking.

I am currently staying in a cheap hotel for the night in LA as I'm attending an event; I can only afford tonight so I don't know what I'm going to do after this. This is my first time at an event and I'm really nervous. I knew there would be a lot of celebrities there. I knew the hype house were attending as they had posted about it on their social media. I knew Tayler would be there with them and I'm hoping if we do bump into each other he will be happy to see me.

I mean what if he didn't recognise me? What if he has forgotten me? I'm overthinking again.

I got ready into this:

Once I made sure I looked presentable, I grabbed my things and headed to the Uber.

I arrived at the event and I was walking down the red carpet. I got my photo taken and I did a few interviews. I got asked questions about my love life, why I wanted to start social media, and what I want to achieve in the future etc. It was honestly so much fun.

I walked inside and I ended up bumping into Addison and Charli from the hype house. "Oh my gosh, it's Lauren Moore." Addison said shocked. "And you are Addison and Charli. I am such a big fan of both of you." I said excitedly. "Are you kidding? We are big fans of you." Addison said. "Yeah the girls and I are always watching your tiktoks and YouTube videos." Charli said smiling. "We know the boys do as well." Addison added, giggling. I felt my jaw hit the floor. "Are you serious? I can't actually believe I'm talking to you both."'I said, trying to get over this.

We took some picture together and even did a couple of tiktoks for our accounts. "Do you want to come and sit with us?" Charli asked. "No it's okay, I don't want to be a burden." I replied. "Nonsense. You can sit with us girls. Oh by the way, some of the boys have a major crush on you. Just giving you the heads up." Addison said. I giggled and we walked over to the rest of the hype house.

I immediately saw Tayler and I felt my heart start to race. "Guys, look who we bumped into." Addison said, pulling me next to her. Suddenly all their attention was now on me. "Someone pinch me, I think I'm dreaming." Ryland said. Alex pinched him and Ryland hit his arm. Ryland walked over to me and hugged me tight. Addison slapped his arm. "The poor girl can't breath." Addison said. He let go and my eyes locked with Tayler's. "No way it can't be." He looked at me in disbelief. "Lauren Moore? My childhood bestie?" He added. "Missed me?" I giggled awkwardly. He wrapped me in a hug. I've missed him so much.

Everyone was looking at each other with a confused look on their face. "What are you doing here?" He asked me. "I got invited." I replied. "She's a new rising star Tayler. How did you not know?" Addison asked. Tayler shrugged. "How do you two know each other?" Tony asked. "We were best friends when we lived back in Texas but then Tayler moved out to LA and we lost contact." I said, trying not to show how sad I was. "We need a catchup. How about tomorrow?" Tayler asked me. I nodded.

I didn't want to tell him my parents kicked me out. It's mortifying. I don't have enough money yet to afford a place out in LA yet, it's really expensive out here. I don't have enough money to stay in the hotel for another night either. I guess I'm going to have to find a place to crash for the night; if not I'll end up sleeping in my car.

After the event, I said my goodbyes to the hype house. "Hey Lauren, do you fancy staying with us tonight?" Charli asked me. "Oh no, but thank you. I've been a burden on all of you guys tonight." I said, declining her offer. "Don't be silly. You have to stay the night." Thomas insisted. I sighed. I know it would be good for me and I won't have to sleep in my car. "Okay I will." I said, smiling. Everyone was so happy and we headed to the house.

We arrived at the hype house and my jaw dropped. I've seen pictures of the house but it is so beautiful in real life. "This place is incredible." I said, taking in the view. "We'll give you a tour in the morning." Kouvr said.

I headed upstairs with the girls but I suddenly felt a hand grab my wrist. I turned around and it was Tayler. "Be ready for 11 tomorrow. We've got so much to catch up on." He said, hugging me. I smiled and quickly caught up with the girls.

I was staying with Kelianne in her room. We talked for a bit before falling asleep. At least tonight I could have a good nights sleep.
