You're My Girl ~ Tayler Holder

Chapter 7

Lauren POV
It's been a few days since I first saw Tayler and Sommer cuddled up together. I've kept my distance from Tayler, especially when he is around Sommer. Yes it might sound petty but every time I see them together I just want to cry.

I woke up and saw Kelianne was still asleep. I went on social media. I was getting tagged a lot in one video in particular. I had a look and it was a tiktok of Sommer and Tayler looking recently close. I felt the tears coming back. I looked at the comments and so many people were saying Tayler should be with me. I smiled slightly knowing people want us together but it broke my heart to know that Tayler doesn't agree with them.

"How are you doing this morning?" I heard Kelianne ask. I turned to see her and she was just waking up. "A bit shit." I confessed. "You know it won't last with Sommer." I shrugged. "He seems happy with her K." "He's happy when he's with you." I stayed silent. "I'm going to do a workout for a bit. I need to burn some of the anger in me." I lightly chuckled. Kelianne smiled. "You know where I am if you need me." I nodded.

I got changed and headed downstairs to the gym. Luckily no one was here. I put my AirPods in and I started my workout.

After 30 minutes, I saw Ondreaz walk in. "Hey." He said. "Hey." I replied. "How long you been in here for?" He asked. "About half an hour." "Are you sure you're okay? You've been a bit distant with us recently, well Tayler in particular." He said, giving me a sympathy look. I looked down. "Do you want to go out and get some breakfast? We can talk it all out." He asked. I nodded with a slight smile. "Come on." He smiled.

We headed out to get some food. We were sitting in a cafe and I explained everything to Ondreaz. "I knew you liked him." He said causing me to smile slightly. "It's not going to happen now." I replied. "I don't see it lasting with her." "People keep telling me that." I said, furrowing my eyebrows. "So what are you going to do about Tayler? You can't keep avoiding him." He asked. "I guess I'm going to try and move on from him." I sighed. "I'm always here if you need me, no matter what." He said smiling. I nodded and thanked him.

We started walking back to his car. "Lauren, I've been thinking, you need to talk to Tayler about how you feel." Ondreaz spoke. "I can't. He's crushing hard on Sommer and I don't want to get in the middle of that. I need to move on." I said. Ondreaz gave me a hug to try and calm me down.

I have always thought of Ondreaz as my big brother. As we got to know each other, we became really close and he was definitely protective over me. I always go to Ondreaz when I need help, advice, a rant, a cuddle or even a chat. Ondreaz gives the best cuddles.

We eventually headed home. When we walked in, I saw Sommer cuddled into Tayler and they were being all cute. "That should be me." I thought to myself.

I was in kitchen and I suddenly heard a voice next to me. I knew exactly who it was. "Hello stranger." I looked up and saw Tayler. "I feel like I haven't seen you in ages." He said, hugging me. "Sorry. I've been spending time with the girls." I said.

I couldn't tell him the truth now.

"Do you want to come and chill with me and Sommer?" He asked. My heart broke when I heard her name. "No it's okay. You go and have some fun." I forced a smile. "I miss my bestie. Please come and hang out with us." He begged. I sighed. "Fine." Tayler grinned. He grabbed my hand and took my outside.

Sommer, Nate and a girl who I've never seen before were all sitting on the chairs talking. I felt so awkward. They were all acting like couples. Sommer was being really flirty with Tayler. I honestly just felt like a third wheel. They all went in the pool. I quietly snuck back inside, making sure that they didn't see me leave.

I went upstairs and went in my room. Kelianne was asleep. I quietly sat on our balcony. I looked down and saw the four of them still in the pool. My heart broke seeing Tayler with Sommer. Tayler didn't even notice that I have left, shows how much he cares about me.

I went to bed and cried myself to sleep.
