Chapter 2

Tayler POV
I woke up and I still can't believe that Lauren is here. She was my best friend growing up. Then I moved out to LA and we lost contact. I wish we didn't but I'm glad she's here now. Hopefully we can become close again. I looked at her social media's and she is doing pretty well for someone who has just started.

I looked at the time and it's 10:15am. I got changed and headed downstairs. Lauren was already up with the girls. Ryland and Lauren have been talking quite a bit and I don't know why but I've been feeling a bit jealous. She's my best friend, well at least she use to be.

"Hey Lauren, do you want to go now?" I asked her. She nodded. We headed out and I drove to a cafe. We ordered some food and sat down at a table. "I still can't believe you're here." I said smiling. "Well it won't be for long." She said looking down. "Why?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. She stayed silent. "Lauren? What's going on?"

Lauren POV
Tayler had the right to know.

"I'm homeless." I said. His jaw dropped, I knew he was shocked. "What? How? I thought you were still living with your parents." He said. "They never wanted me to do social media so they kicked me out. I don't have enough money to pay for my own place yet as I'm just starting out so yeah." I said wiping my tears away.

I've always hated crying in front of Tayler.

"Why didn't you tell me?" He asked, he was definitely concerned about me. "We've not spoken in years." I shrugged. "I am so sorry for losing contact with you when I moved out here. I was such a jerk but I'm here for you now. Please let me help you." He begged. "You don't have to Tayler. I'm going to go back to Texas and get a job my family actually approve of." I said. He looked so hurt for me.

I quickly changed the topic and we talked for a hit longer at the cafe.

Tayler POV
I can't believe her parents threw her out. I can't have Lauren giving up on her dreams. We would always talk about being social media influencers when we were younger but Lauren was always scared to put herself out there.

We arrived back at the house and I pulled Thomas, Chase, Alex and Kouvr into the living room. "So Lauren has told me she is homeless. I know she is just starting out on social media but I can't have her living in her car or going back home and giving up on her dream career. Can she maybe stay here? I'll help with her payments until she can afford to pay for herself." I was practically begging them, hoping they would say yes. We talked it all out in a lot of depth.

We gathered everyone out by the pool. "Lauren, don't be mad but we know about your living arrangement." Thomas said. Lauren glared at me. "Lauren I'm sorry but I can't have you living out on the streets. Also you are not giving up on your dream, I won't let you." I said. "If it's okay with everyone else, we want you to join the house." Chase said smiling. I was shocked. "No guys seriously, I can't accept it. I've outstayed my welcome." Lauren said standing up but Kelianne pulled her back down. "Lauren you have to stay." Charli begged. "We all love you and we want you here." Ondreaz said and everyone nodded in agreement. "But I can't even afford to live here." She said. "I'm paying for you until you can." I said smiling. "Tayler, no. I can't ask that of you." Lauren said, walking over to me. "Tough. You have no choice." I said. She hugged me. "Guys thank you so much. I really appreciate it." Lauren said, a bit emotional. Everyone was so excited.

Lauren pulled me into a quiet room. "Why are you doing all of this for me?" She asked. "You're my best friend, well I hope you are. I want you here, we all do. I know you are going to be successful and I want you to achieve everything you ever dreamed of." I replied. She hugged me for what felt like forever. "You're still my bestie." She mumbled in the hug. I smiled and hugged her tighter.

I've missed Lauren so much and I'm so glad she agreed to stay with us. She's going to fit right in.
