Chapter 18

Lauren POV
I went upstairs with Kelianne, Charli, Addison and Dixie. "I can't get over how smitten Tayler is with you." Dixie said. "He won't even let you go to get ready. He's not been like this for a very long time." Charli added. "I'm glad he's happy." I smiled. "I love you guys and I'm so glad yous are making this work." Addison said fangirlling, causing me to giggle.

I did my makeup and got changed into my outfit. I hope Tayler likes it, I spent a lot of time picking it out.

"How do you look so good in everything." Kelianne said. "Thanks K." I said hugging her. "He will die when he sees you." Dixie added. "You think he'll like it?" I asked, looking in the mirror making sure I looked good for him. "Girl are you kidding me? He'll love it. He won't be able to keep his hands off you." Addison grinned. "Stop worrying. Now go downstairs and get your man." Charli said. I gave them a hug and we headed downstairs.

Tayler POV
I was so nervous waiting for Lauren to come downstairs. "How are you planning on asking her?" Tony asked. "I've got a reservation booked at a fancy restaurant and then I'm taking her to the beach to watch the sunset. Lauren loves going to the beach so I thought it will be the perfect place to ask her." I explained. "She'll love it." Nick smiled.

We were chatting a bit longer and we then heard the girls. I turned around and my jaw dropped. Lauren looked absolutely breath taking. We made eye contact and I saw her blush.

I walked over to her, biting my lip slightly. "Wow." I said to myself. "You've got a little something there." She giggled, wiping the drool away. I rolled my eyes and gave her a kiss. "You look so beautiful tonight." I whispered against her lips. "You don't look too bad yourself." She smirked. I pulled away and smiled. "You ready to go?" I asked and she nodded.

Everyone was watching us like giddy school children. "Have fun." Addison yelled. "But not too much fun." Thomas joked as we walked towards the door. I heard Lauren giggle at their comments.

Lauren POV
We arrived at a gorgeous restaurant. Tayler quickly got out of the car and ran to open my car door. Damn he was quick. "M'lady." He said, holding his hand out for me. "Such a gentleman."

We walked into the restaurant hand in hand and we were greeted by a young waitress. She seemed to be eyeing up Tayler which made me a bit jealous. "Hello, do you have a reservation booked?" She asked, batting her eyelashes at Tayler. Tayler nodded. "Yes it's under Holder." He said. "If you would like to follow me." She said. We followed her to our table and she handed us the menus. She winked and smirked at Tayler before leaving. A wave of jealousy hit me.

"Babe you don't need to be jealous." Tayler said. I stayed silent and looked down. "Baby please look at me." He pleaded. I looked up at him and he looked hurt when he saw how upset I was. "Lauren I promise you are the only girl for me. Every girl in this world could try and shoot their shot with me but my head wouldn't be turned. I promise you." He said, holding me hand. "I know you wouldn't do anything Tay. I just hate getting jealous." I confessed. "You getting jealous just shows me how much you care about me. Also, it's honestly quite sexy seeing you like this." He winked. "You are too cute." I giggled.

We ate our food which was incredible. We talked and laughed a lot. I love going on dates with Tayler. I know we've known each other for years but I still get butterflies every time I'm around him. I'm truly the luckiest girl in the world.

Tayler payed for dinner. We argued about who was paying but he wouldn't let me contribute. I've said that I'm paying for our next date.

We walked out to the car and before I got in, I pulled him into me. "Thank you for another perfect date." I smiled with my arms around the back of his neck. "Anything for you princess." He kissed me, holding my waist. "Ready for the next part?" He asked. "Tay, no. No more." "Tough." He winked.

We got in the car and he drove to the next part of our date.

We finally arrived at the beach I looked at Tayler with a big smile on my face. "I know how much you love the beach so I thought we could watch the sunset." Tayler suggested. I pulled him into me for a kiss. "You are amazing." "I know." He chuckled. "Now let's go before we miss it." He added.

He grabbed a blanked from the boot and we headed down onto the beach. We sat and cuddled. It was perfect.

"Hey Lauren, I've got something to ask you something." Tayler spoke. I faced him and he looked a bit nervous. "What's up?" I asked rubbing my thumb against his hand. "We've known each other since we were kids and little did we know we liked each other. I can't believe that you came back in my life and I'm so thankful that you did. You are so gorgeous, beautiful, sexy, funny, caring, and talented. No one in this world compares to you and trust me no one will. I'm crazy about you Lauren and that will never change. I want to make you mine. Will you be my girlfriend?"

I had tears running down my cheeks. He spoke with so much love. "Of course I will Tay." We both had big grins on our faces. He pulled me onto his lap and connected his lips to mine.

This kiss was so passionate compared to the others. I pulled away and rested my forehead against his. "I'm so glad I can finally call you my girl." He smiled. "I can't believe I get to call you mine."

We lay back, still cuddling and watched the sunset This date couldn't have gone any better.

We eventually headed back home. Whilst Tayler was driving, he had his hand on my thigh. I stared at him for a moment. That's my boy, my boyfriend.

We arrived at the house and everyone was still up. "It's about time." Thomas said. "Did you guys wait up to see how it went?" Tayler asked, chuckling slightly. They all said yes. "Urm yeah it didn't work out. We don't think this is going to last." I confessed. They all looked shocked. "Sike." Tayler yelled. "She's my girlfriend." They all cheered and hugged us. "Never pull something like that again. I thought you were being serious." Addison said. I giggled and hugged her.

We all headed to bed. Tayler grabbed my wrist. "Tonight you're sleeping with me princess." I smiled. I changed into one of Tayler's T-shirt's. I climbed into bed and cuddled into him.

I was so happy and nothing will change that.
