Chapter 14

Lauren POV
It's been a couple of day's since Tayler confessed how he felt. I haven't slept properly as I keep thinking about Tayler. He can't stand to look at me, we don't talk and it's breaking my heart. He can't even be in the same room as me. You can feel the tension within the house and I hate that we are divided.

I've decided to end things with Blake. It's not fair for him to be caught up in the middle of all of this.

I took a quick shower and I got changed. I put some natural makeup on, to make it look like I've actually had some sleep. I heard Kelianne wake up as I was applying my makeup.

"Morning." She said, rubbing her eyes. "Morning K." "Where are you going?" She asked. "I'm meeting Blake." "So you're choosing him?" I shook my head. "I'm ending things with him. I want to be happy with Tayler." Kelianne grinned. "Really?" I nodded. "I've thought about it for the last couple of days. It's always been Tayler." I smiled. Kelianne hugged me tight. I knew she was thrilled for me. "Don't get your hopes up, Tayler might not even want to talk to me." I said. "Oh he will, believe me."

Blake text me saying he was outside. "Wish me luck." She gave me a hug and I headed outside to see Blake.

I climbed in his car and he looked so happy. I can't believe I'm going to break his heart. "Well hello." He kissed my cheek. "Hi." I smiled.

Blake drove us to get some food. We paid for the food and we sat down in a booth. "Are you sure you're okay? You've not been your usual self." He said. I took a deep breath. "Blake I need to talk to you about something." He nodded, giving me the go ahead. "I can't do this. I am so sorry I lead you on but..." "But you've realised it's Tayler you want to be with." He interrupted me. I nodded slowly. "I am so so sorry Blake. I never wanted to hurt you." I was nearly in tears. "In all honesty, I thought this would happen. It just wasn't the right time for us."

We talked it all out and we agreed to be friends. I feel so bad for leading him on. Blake handled the whole situation better than I thought. He was really mature about it.

"I'll drive you home." He said. I smiled.

Once we arrived at the hype house, I gave Blake a hug. "I'm so sorry." I cried into the hug. "Stop apologising. It's fine, we're fine. I promise." He pulled away from the hug. He wiped my tears away and smiled. "Now go and speak to Tayler. Just remember I'm always going to be here for you." He smiled. "Thanks Blake."

I got out the car and walked into the hype house. I bumped into Ryland. "Hey, have you seen Tayler?" I asked. "Yeah, we dragged him out of his room. He's out by the pool." He said. I nodded and thanked him.

I headed out to the pool and I became extremely nervous. Most of the house was outside, including Tayler. "Hey Tayler, can I have a word?" I asked, the nerves taking over me. He stayed silent. "Please Tayler, in private." "Okay."

We walked to the living room. "Please don't talk until I'm finished. You need to hear this." I said and he nodded. "I am so so sorry for not saying anything the other night. I was in shock. I do like you, I've liked you since we were kids. I just never thought you would like me back. I mean look at you, you are so hot and handsome and well me.... I just keep thinking I'm not good enough for you. I've ended things with Blake. It wasn't fair for him to be second best. I want to give us a try, that's if you still want to." I confessed.

This time Tayler stayed silent. "Okay I get it." I sighed and started to walk away but Tayler grabbed my wrist and pulled me back. "I am crazy about you, you have no idea. You have and always will be good enough for me. I want to give us a try too." I smiled so hard to the point where my cheeks started to hurt.
I can't believe them words just left his mouth. "We'll take things slow. I don't want anything to mess us up." He said, running his finger against my cheek.

He stared into my eyes and he started to lean in, like he did at the beach. Only this time we didn't get interrupted. His lips connected to mine, moving in perfect sync. My heart was beating so fast and I felt butterflies in my stomach. His hands held my waist, and mine were wrapped around the back of his neck.

Tayler pulled away and we were both smiling. "I've been wanting to do that for so long". He whispered. I blushed and buried my face into his chest. "Let's go outside with the others." He said, kissing my shoulder. I pulled away and kissed him once more, before heading outside.

"So how did it go?" Tony asked, noticing us walking over to them. All the attention was now on us. "We're going to give it a try." I exclaimed. Everyone erupted into cheers. "We've had a long talk. We know it's not going to be easy but we both want this." Tayler explained. "It's about time." Addison cheered.

I cuddled with Tayler for the rest of the night. I'm happy we are giving us a try.
