Lauren POV
After coming home from the beach yesterday, I've been a bit distant with Tayler. I couldn't cope seeing him. I mean we nearly kissed.
I was lying in bed, contemplating everything. Do I really like Tayler? I had feelings for him when we were younger but I thought all of them feelings had disappeared... clearly not. He's my best friend and I don't want to lose him. Tayler could have any girl he wanted, why would he want me? I'm nothing special. I need to know how Tayler feels.
I walked downstairs to find Tayler. As I walked outside to the pool, I stopped in my tracks. I saw Tayler cuddling up to another girl. I felt the tears building up and my heart broke. "Look who's finally up." Tayler joked, looking at me. I forced a smile. "Lauren this is Sommer. Sommer this is my bestie Lauren." Tayler introduced us. We both said hi.
I walked back in the house. I can't believe it. I thought he might have felt the same way about me. I sat in the kitchen, staring into space. My brain was trying to process what I just saw.
"Hey Lauren." I jumped as I heard the voice. I looked up and saw Ondreaz walking over to me. "Sorry I didn't mean to startle you." He chuckled. "It's fine." I sighed. "What's up?" He asked. "Nothing." Ondreaz gave me a hug. "You know you can tell me anything." He said. I nodded. "Thanks Dre." I smiled. He kissed my head and left me alone.
I was sat on my balcony, I needed to be alone right now. "There you are." Addison said, walking onto my balcony. I smiled slightly. "So you didn't talk to Tayler then?" Charli asked. I shook my head. "Not since I saw him cuddled up to Sommer." "I'm so sorry Lauren." Addison said, hugging me. I felt the tears running down my cheeks. "Do you want to get out of the house for a while?" Charli asked. I nodded. "Just us girls?" Charli nodded. "Just us girls." She smiled. I grabbed my phone and we said our goodbyes to everyone.
We spent the day looking around the shops. The girls did their best to take my mind off Tayler. We arrived back home and I went straight upstairs. I wasn't in the mood to face anyone.
