Chapter 26

Lauren POV
I woke up the next day and Cynthia was already awake. We decided to go downstairs and leave the other girls to sleep.

Blake, Bryce, Quinton and Josh were already up and were in the kitchen making breakfast. "Wait. Are my eyes deceiving me? Are the sway boys making breakfast?" I pretended to be dramatic. "Haha funny." Josh said, sarcastically. "I'm kidding." I replied. "We've made breakfast, so help yourselves." Quinton smiled. Cynthia and I sat down at the counter, and Blake came over and kissed the side of my head.

Once we had finished our breakfast, there was only me, Cynthia and Bryce left in the kitchen. "Lauren!" Someone yelled. It sounded like Blake. I followed the voice and saw Blake sitting in the living room on live.

"Hey my live wanted to see you." Blake said, smiling at me. I sat next to him and he had a lot of people on his live. Blake was talking to his fans and I was reading some of the comments.

•Is Lauren still friends with the hype house?
•Are Blake and Lauren dating?
•I ship Lauren and Blake

"I might as well answer some of these questions." I looked at Blake and he nodded.

"I am not speaking about what happened with me and Tayler. It's between me and him and we both agreed it would be best to keep our reasons private. I don't want anyone sending him hate. I am still really close with the hype house, I've seen and spoken to the girls a lot and I still talk to the majority of the boys. I love and miss them all so much and they will always remain a big part of my life. Blake and I aren't together, we're just really close friends." I explained. Blake nodded in agreement.

We were on live for a while longer. Everyone was shipping Blake and I which was cute. We finally came off his live.

"You know I hated it when I had to let you go." Blake spoke up. I looked at him shocked. "Don't do this to me Blake." I said, standing up. "I know you've just broken up with Tayler who you loved so much, but why can't you let me show you how you should be treated." He said, walking towards me. "I'm still healing from that heartache. Even if I wasn't in this situation, I could never date you. We're so close and I couldn't risk losing you. I've already lost Tayler who was my best friend." I said, fiddling with my fingers. Blake sighed. "I get that. You know I'll always care for you and if the day comes where I can be with you, trust me I'll take it." He said. I smiled and cuddled into him. "You're the best Blake." He kissed the top of my head and held me close.

"How about we spend some time together just as friends? I've missed having you in my life." He said, pulling away from the hug and looking at me. "Just friends? No feelings involved?" I asked. He nodded. "I would love to." I smiled.

We joined the rest of the house out by the pool. Indiana and I spent the rest of the day here before heading home.

We said our goodbyes to the boys. Blake gave me a longer hug than everyone else. I've definitely had a laugh the past couple of days.

Indiana and I decided to drive around LA for a while before heading back home. "So you and Blake huh?" She winked. I rolled my eyes and I kept my focus on the road. "We've agreed to be friends. We're going to hang out but no feelings involved." I replied. "Do you like him?" She asked. "I've always thought he was attractive but my heart belongs to Tayler. I know it shouldn't after what he's done but it's Tayler. It's not fair for Blake to be second best." "You need to move on from Tayler, what he did was so unfair for you. Maybe Blake is the best person for you." She said, smiling slightly.

Her words kept playing around in my head. Maybe she is right.

We finally arrived back home and we both crashed on the sofa. I was scrolling through my social media and I saw a picture of Tayler and the top comment was from Sommer. They were definitely flirting in the comments and it stung so bad. It's not even been a week and he's moved on already. Did I mean nothing to him?

Maybe Tayler has moved on and maybe it's time for me to move on too.
