Third Peron's POV: With Grace:
After reuniting with Uma and Harry, Grace heads to the roof tops and looks up to the night sky above, the stars reflecting behind the barrier. She sighs and just keeps looking up to the sky, she then hears some movement- but ignores it.
"Hey, mini Gil. Ye' alrigh'?" Harry Hook asks her. Grace's head spins around to see him and Gil standing behind her. She just looks back to the sky.
"Yeah, I guess you could say 'I'm alright'." Grace replies, putting quotations around the phrase. Harry and Gil came and laid down either side of her.
"Sounds like yer in a pickle." Harry says.
"I guess you could say that." She replies.
"What's up?" Gil asks.
"Just things are so different now. Blaise, he snapped. Since he found out I was using magic, he's changed. It's as if he's a completely different person. Someone I don't know how to be with." She replies.
"Maybe it's no' mean' her be?" Harry suggests.
"But it feels so right when I'm with him. Well... it did." She says. "Maybe it's me, I mean he was annoyed because I was using magic."
"Tha' doesn't mean it's yer fault." Harry replies.
"You shouldn't blame yourself. Your magic is a part of who you are, just as much as drawing and reading is. If he doesn't accept that, then maybe it's not meant to be. Or that he needs to change the way he looks at you." Gil replies. Grace and Harry look to him in shock. "What? I may be stupid, but I have a little wisdom." They smile at him.
"I guess you're right." She tells him.
"There's a reason that you inherited your mum's magic. Whether it was destiny or fate, it happened." Gil adds.
"Besides yer mother was an enchantress, the enchantress. I mean she had the power ter turn Beas' into the Beas'." Harry continues. "If that's no' power, then I don't know what is. And if yeh've inherited it, it's for a reason."
"Don't let anyone make you want to stop using it. It's not right." Gil adds. She smiles to the pair.
"Thank you." She says to them. They smile to her.
"Come on, we've got a job to do." Gil says. Harry looks to him as though that was the wrong thing to say and hits him on the head. "Ouch. What was that for?"
"For sayin' the thing we weren't goin' ter say." He replies. Grace looks between them in confusion.
"What are you two on about?" She asks.
"We've been given a job from Uma. Capture either King Benny or the other chap." Harry replies.
"Why?" She asks.
"Because then we can trade them for Fairy Godmother's wand and get off the Isle." Gil replies.
"And that's why you wasn't going to tell me because they're my friends." She concludes. They nod. This was an internal debate she wasn't sure how it was going to end. Letting them capture her friends would be betraying her friends, after all she'd be knowing it was going to happen and doing nothing about it. But warning her friends and stopping Gil and Harry would mean betraying them and Uma, but also condemning them for forever on the Isle.
"Come with us to the chip shop, I want to be reunited with you. You can help guard your friend with me." Gil says, not noticing her internal debate.
"I don't know whether I can watch when you abduct one or two of my friends." She tells him.
"Then don't watch." Harry suggests, Grace turns to look at him with an annoyed look.
"Just forget we said anything." Gil then suggests. Grace rolls her eyes. "We'll be taking them anyway, it's just what side of the whole thing that you want to be on."
"I'm going to be on their side. But I don't want you to push me away." She replies.
"We won't." They reply together. She nods to them and stands, the others follow too. Together the three of them walk away from the roof and back to the streets.
"See you later, Gracey." Gil says, pulling her in for a hug. Grace returns the hug and then waves to the pair as they turn a corner. She sighs and starts to walk towards the other VKs hideout. As she gets there, she's met with the sight of Ben coming back down from the steps.
"Where's Mal?" Grace asks, coming out into the light.
"She's not coming back." Ben says sadly before walking off, Blaise following after him.
"What?" Evie says, she then walks to the speaker that goes up into the hideout. "M? Mal, it's Evie."
"Go away." Mal's voice replies.
"Guys, where's Ben and Blaise?" Carlos asks. At this Grace had remembered the thing she was going to tell them. But it had completely gone from her mind when she realised Mal wasn't coming back. There was then a figure walking towards the group.
"Ben, don't scare us like that." Evie says.
"Don't scare yeh? Bu' that's my speciality." Harry says. Everyone, minus Grace, tenses up.
"Harry." Evie breathes out as the figure comes into the light.
"What did you do with Ben and Blaise?" Jay asks.
"Oh, uh, we nicked them. Mmm-hmm. Yeah, um, and if yeh want ter see them again, have Mal come ter the Chip Shoppe tonight. Alone. Uma wants a little visit." He replies, he then looks to Grace. "Of course, you're always welcome Grace." Grace just nods.
"Aw, Jay. Seems like ye've lost yer touch." Harry says to Jay. Jay then goes to punch him, but Evie holds him back. Harry then looks to Carlos and 'woofs' attempting to scare him- but it doesn't work. He then laughs, walking away, whistling the tune of 'Chillin' like a villain'.
"Come on, let's go tell Mal." Grace says, then turns to the stairs, and starts climbing the railings- all of the others do the same.
