Just Friends

*Nene's POV*

I blinked open my eyes. I was laying down on something... A hospital bed..? what happened yesterday? I sat up and saw I was wearing a blue gown and my hair down. I sighed. Looking around I saw the thing that says your heart beat which is normal. The real question is, where's Amane-kun..? I looked harder, not finding him I slumped down. I was feeling sad, I just don't know why... Maybe I'm guilty, maybe he got hurt. Maybe he's mad at me, or possibly even died!

"What happened though..?" I muttered to myself.

I sighed and saw a remote. At least there's a TV on here. I switched it on, luckily a good romantic comedy was on. I got comfortable and glued my eyes on the movie.

*Amane's POV*

I walked around for a little bit looking for a bakery. Somewhere there has to be. I was told by the nurse I'm not allowed to go in Nene-chan's room, I want to see how she is so I decided to get a doughnut instead. What was her favorite food again..? Strawberry filled rice cakes, right. I will get those for her and visit her, even if it's against the rules. Luckily though, I dealt with Sakura. 

"Aha!" I saw a bakery and ran to the line.

The line shockingly had no one on it, who wouldn't want a baked good at 3:53 pm? I stood looking at the menu. I sighed relief when I saw strawberry rice cakes on the menu, and doughnuts. I walked up when I decided what I wanted.

"Hello sir, how may I help you?" The cashier smiled.

"I would like one dozen of strawberry filled rice cakes and a dozen of plain doughnuts." I ordered.

"Coming right up!" The cashier walked off a little to grab to dozen boxes. She neatly put everything on each box.

"Here you go, have a great rest of your day!" The cashier waved.

I waved and took the boxes and walked off to the elevator.

I waited to get on the second floor to deliver Nene-chan's food. The elevator arrived and I bolted to Nene-chan's room. I was super excited to check on her, I haven't in hours! I opened the door to Nene-chan's room.

"Who is it?" I heard Nene-chan say.

"It's me." I replied, smiling.

Nene-chan turned around and smiled.

I walked into the room and sat on part of the hospital bed.

"Here you go, Nene-chan!" I said, handing her the box of rice cakes.

Her eyes instantly glowed, brighter than the sun itself.

"For me?" She looked at me smiling still.

"Who else?" I chuckled.

Nene-Chan gave me a hug, I hugged her back.

"Even if there wasn't gravity on Earth I'd still fall for you..." I muttered, so she couldn't hear me.

"Hm..?" Nene-Chan looked at me.

"Nothing, but I have a question." I said, smiling.

"Sure!" Nene-Chan smiled.

"Are you a camera?" I asked.

"No, why?" She looked at me, chuckling.

"No reason." I smiled.

I see Nene-Chan as a camera because she always makes me smile.

"Amane-kun, you like space, right?" Nene-Chan looked at me.

"Yeah." I replied.

"If I had a star for every time you brightened my day, I'd have a galaxy." Nene-Chan smiled, looking out  window.

I looked at Nene-chan. She meant it as a friend, friends make each other smile after all.

*Nene's POV*

Why did I say that?! How did he take it?! Reeeeee! Play it cool, Yashiro. Play it cool.

"Am I allowed to go home." I asked Amane-kun.

"I don't think so, but if you want to you can stay with me and Tsukasa u til you have to leave." Amane-kun said, looking at me, no expression in his eyes.

"Okay, thank you, Amane-kun." I smiled from ear to ear.

*Tsukasa's POV*

Amaze better come back soon. He said he would an hour ago and I'm worried! When he gets back I am going to annoy him. I know exactly how, just say he likes Nene-Chan. I heard a key unlock the door. Finally. The door opened and I saw Nene-Chan and Amand.

"Why is Nene-Chan here?" I asked, waving to my brother and my friend.

"She didn't want to stay at the hospital." Amane replied looking like he doesn't have an expression but I could tell he's worried.

"Sakura..." I muttered angrily.

"Nene-Chan, you can take my bed. I don't care, I can sleep on the couch." Amane aaid.

He likes her. I wonder if she likes him though. He'd be devastated I could always ask her.

"Amaze, go prepare stuff for Nene-Chan, please." I said, with puppy dog eyes.

"Sure." Amane rolled his eyes.

I immediately looked at Nene-chan.

"Yes..?" She smiled worried.

"How do you feel about Amane?" I asked.

Nene-Chan stared at me, mildly blushing, "E-Eh?" She managed to get that out.

"Do you- " J asked before getting interrupted.

"I know what you said, Tsukasa-kun! No need to ask again." Nene-Chan waved her hands.

"Just friends?" I asked, making her blush more.

"A-Amane-kun!~" Nene-Chan yelled running to him.

I walked a little off to the couch and put on Pokémon.

*Nene's POV*

Tsukasa-kun can be so frustrating. But without him I wouldn't have met Amand-kun, and the twins would still be social outcasts. But...

Are me and Amane-kun only friends???
