"You may now proceed to level two" The voice spoke up, making the two players flinch, "Your winnings are automatically transferred to your inventory"
After that eerie silence fell upon them until Hoseok imprinted a sentence in their mind.
"Guys, I just received fifty thousand units and twenty gems"
Jimin made a amused look hearing that and put his sword back in.
"What now?" Yoongi asked, panting.
"There is village few kilometres to your north" Hoseok answered,"Reach there before nightfall"
The two player nodded and started trekking their way through the woods. When they were halfway through, they noticed that the sunlight changed from bright yellow to warm orange.
"Oh and um...days goes faster in your game world" Hoseok commented when he noticed that the players had stopped walking.
Jimin rolled his eyes and started walking faster along with Yoongi.
The woods seemed more quieter than one before and Yoongi wasn't sure what to make of it. It was too quite. He would have thought that the time had stopped if weren't for the changing hues of the sun rays. Even the leaves were rustling. There was no breeze. No chirping of birds.
He couldn't help but feel a little paranoid about this place. And no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't shake off the feeling that someone was watching him. But every time he looked around, he found nothing.
"Jimin..." Yoongi breathed out, after checking the surrounding one more time. The younger hummed and took a glance back.
"Hurry up please. I would like to get out of this place as soon as possible" Yoongi said.
"Me too hyung" Jimin chuckled, thinking that Yoongi was simply feeling tired but the pale look on Yoongi's face said otherwise.
"Hyung, is everything alright?" Jimin asked.
"Ye-yeah" Yoongi stuttered out, shaking the creepy feeling.
'Hoseok, can you hear me?' Yoongi asked, mentally.
"Yeah" Hoseok answered.
'Pass the message to Jimin that someone is watching us. Ask him not to react' Yoongi replied.
Yoongi waited for a couple seconds before he saw a change in Jimin's looks. The younger glanced back at Yoongi and slowed down till they were side to side.
Jimin looked at Yoongi's back, eyeing the burn marks, "Can you see them?"
Yoongi shook his head, shifting his quiver around hid waist, "They are well hidden"
Jimin sighed and nodded. The burn marks looked painful and Jimin frowned a little as he ran his fingers gently around. As they walked, Jimin tapped on his pocket and his medic-kit hologram popped up in front of him.
