The three members of team GlassWater were heading back to their chambers. No one spoke anything on the way back. But, surprisingly there was no tension between them. But that didn't keep Hoseok from being restless.
Hoseok couldn't wake at a specific pace, looking every where as they walked towards their chamber. The other two were a lot more collected than Hoseok, but the look on their face was dangerous.
Hoseok gulped, wetting his drying throat. He pursed his lips when Yoongi opened the door and motioned for him to walk in. He flinched when the door was closed. One second passed. Two seconds passed. Three seconds passed. Guilt was eating and pestering him. A fire burned in his mind and throat. He knew he'd done something pretty awful when he had to work so hard to justify it.
"So...hyung, I suppose you would like to say something" Jimin spoke out loud, sitting on the sofa, crossing his legs over each other.
Hoseok inhaled deeply; curling his hand in a fist until his nails dug deep into the skin, until it almost drew out blood.
Jimin nodded, biting the inside of his cheeks, "You do happen to realize that the trust is thinning out with each second"
Yoongi sighed, leaning against the wall by the door. He wanted to interject in between but he knew better. Hoseok had done this the second time. He could see how hard it was for Jimin to build up the cold, distant exterior. And that fragile exterior was closing to breaking any second.
"Hoseok hyung, why did you not say anything about it?" Jimin asked once again with a stern voice. But his voice wavered at the end.
Hoseok kept quiet. He wasn't sure what to say, and how to explain. He looked away from Jimin, when the reasons flooded his mind.
"Hyung....why?" Jimin asked once again with a shaky voice.
And drew the final straw. Hoseok scrunched up his, biting harshly on his lower lips.
"I was scared!" He cried out, tears now falling from his face, "Did you even listen to anything I said back in there?"
The other two didn't speak up, waiting for Hoseok to continue.
"Did you think of what was going through me knowing that both your life depended on me?" Hoseok roughly wiped off the tears from his face, "Every second you spent in that Game I was worried as hell, knowing that one small mistake from my side and you might die. Each time I saw your heartbeats drop, I felt so bloody powerless. The fear that something might wrong because of killed me each day. Why do you think I stayed up all? To read a two page message? No! Goddammit! I stayed all the time so I didn't leave behind anything. Anything that might put your life in danger. I understood just how fatal those machines can turn out to be on the first day and to know that I was who-"
Hoseok sank down to his knees; he sobbed into his hands and the tears dripped between his fingers, raining down onto the carpeted floor.
"What if-What if I make a mistake and something hap-" Hoseok chocked in his tears before he could finish his sentence. But he didn't have to complete it. The other's understood.
