Jin walked back into the room to notify the others that the message was sent. As soon as it was delivered, all the players separated among themselves, taking several different paths to approach Hyun-Ki's office.
Jimin and Jungkook sneaked through the vents together. Jimin kept on directing the younger through the vents since, he had memorized the entire path earlier.
"Careful" Jimin alerted. The next apart of the vents was straight upwards. And both Jungkook and Jimin had to climb it. Jungkook let out a huff of breath as he jumped upwards and stuck his hands and foot to the walls of the vent. He stayed like that for a second to make sure that he could hold his body before he slowly started climbing upwards.
Once Jungkook was up at a safe distance, Jimin copied Jungkook's action. He legs almost slipped because he moved a bit to fast.
"Jimin! Geez! Yoongi hyung will murder me" Jungkook grumbled looking down at Jimin who was giggling because he found it funny for some reason.
"I'm sorry" He whispered, before looking up again with a steely expression, "Okay up!"
Jungkook nodded before climbing upwards. He guessed that there were only a few feets felt before they would climb up to the next floor. However, the vents were hot and his hands were getting sweaty. He stopped momentarily to wipe off the sweat on his shirt before continuing. But the moment, he shifted his weight, his hands slipped.
Jungkook groaned silently as he tried to use the friction to stop himself from slipping downwards. His were burning by the time he was able to stop, just a few inches above Jimin.
"Jungkook are you okay?" Jimin asked. They were somewhere in the middle of the vertical vent and going either would require the same energy. If anything, going downwards without getting a look at where they were stepping would be more dangerous than going upwards.
"Yeah-Yeah I'm fine" Jungkook replied, blowing over his hands before climbing up again, "Which way?"
"Jimin looked behind Jungkook before recalling the path, "Um...left"
Jungkook nodded and reached forward in that direction.Soon he got up reached to the next floor and hauled his body upwards. Once he was up, he reached his hand down to pull Jimin up. As they crawled through the vents, Jimin would look down at all the outlets to make sure that they didn't cross Hyun-Ki's floor.
"There" Jimi whispered, pointing outside the outlet. He crossed over to let Jungkook his place and turned around to face him. Jimin carefully removed the lid to make a less noise as possible. Once the lid was out of the way, Jungkook cautiously looked through the opening to get a view on the entire area.
"Nine guards" Jungkook counted, "There of them have guns and the others have truncheons.
"You take out the guns and I'll deal with the truncheons" Jimin mumbled. Jungkook nodded and then slowly lowered his body down the opening. The vent outlet was right behind exposed pillar. It was able to cover Jungkook perfectly. He fell down silently on his toes and sneaked up to behind the nearest guard at the corner
