Jimin rested his hands on the steering wheel, keeping his grip loose so that steering wheel turned easily since Hoseok was the one controlling it. His eyes were trained outside, watching the blur of bright lights pass by.
Jimin wasn't sure how far they were from where they had started. But looking outside, he noticed that the number of buildings had decrease considerably. Now, it seemed that the building weren't rising from on top of each other.
But still, the place was crowded with tall buildings.
"Hoseok stop the car" Jimin ordered.
Jimin felt that Hoseok was hesitant considering that the speed of the car kept on flickering between high and low until finally coming to a stop. Jimin quickly removed the seat belts and got out of the car.
"Jimin what are you doing?" Hoseok asked
"I don't know. I think I saw something"
Jimin held the gun in both of his hand, ready to shoot when needed. He took padded steps as he entered the alleyway. It wasn't dark and he could see bright light from the other side. He was halfway through the alleyway when he heard other footsteps.
They weren't from behind him.
But above him.
Jimin quickly rolled down to the nearest widow sill. And once he saw sure that he was hidden underneath the sill and the fire exits, he took a quick glance upwards. He couldn't see any person or figure but he could see shadows jumping across the rooftops.
A shiver ran up and down his spine when he heard a fanatic laugh. He wasn't safe there and he was aware of that fact. He was about to go back to his car when he noticed a blue light on the other side of the alleyway.
Jimin nibbled on his lower lips looking back and forth the two sides of alley and trying to decide to what he should. After a minute, he muttered 'damn it' under his breath and started walking towards his car.
But before he got get out, some one jumped right in front of me. Jimin couldn't see the face since the light was in the opposite direction. But he didn't have to see the face to know that he should get away from the person as soon as possible.
"Excuse me" Jimin muttered trying to get past the person.
But the moment Jimin took a step to his side, the person did the same. Jimin glared at the person but kept quiet. He took a couple step back before turning around and walking the other way.
'Hoseok, get me directions back to the car'
Jimin didn't have to look over his shoulder to know that the person was following him. He waited for the right moment to make a run for it. Jimin walked in his normal pace, but at the same time he was alert and ready to make any moves necessary.
"The alleyway opens up to another main street. Take a left from there" Hoseok replied back after a minute.
Jimin looked in the reflections of the window to see that the person was still behind him closer than before. The anticipation was a nervous kind of energy. It tingled through him like electrical sparks on the way to the ground, gathering in his toes. And finally the anticipation got the better of him and Jimin tried to run.
