The days passed sooner than they imagined. Jimin and Hoseok had been working day and night over the choreography. Yoongi had used that time to explore around the building, or at least the parts that they were allowed to, in order to gather some information about the other teams. You can never be too ready for The Games. 

Finally the day came for the Opening Ceremony. 

The atmosphere was tense. It was no secret that the other players were trying to subdue one another's performance. Jimin and Hoseok had to stay careful, for they didn't know who would use unsocial methods against them.

You can never expect every player to play clean.

All the players were escorted to the stage where the Opening Ceremony usually took place. As usual, Hoseok and Yoongi were again on high alert, noting every thing around them. Jimin wasn't sure about what they were looking out for, Jimin felt the same uneasiness as the other members.

Jimin's eyes widen a little went he the colorful dresses worn the different teams. He was surprised when he saw that range of luxurious clothes that were let the disposal of the players in. The players were given the liberty to choose their own.

Apart from the dresses, a whole section was dedicated to dummy weapons of every kind. Starting from shirt range dagger to long range guns.

The Opening Ceremony started with the sounds of deafening drum rolls, followed by fireworks. Then one by one, the teams showcase their performances. 

Jimin's eyes widen a little went he the colorful dresses worn the different teams. He was surprised when he saw that range of luxurious clothes that were let the disposal of the players in. The players were given the liberty to choose their own

The order usually included the newly made province starting and ended by the older province. Since, Jimin's province, GlassWater was one of the first one to be made, Jimin's and Hoseok's chance came the very last. 

Jimin and Hoseok were to perform the second last.

The last one were the FireCrystals. 

Jimin grew nervous with each performance. Every team showcase their fighting skills. And it was magnificent. Each team better than the once before. The bar being set up high with turn. 

Jimin gulped when the team before them performed. Soon enough, it would their chance. 

The sun had set, and the sky was slowly being enveloped by darkness. The spotlights flared upon the stage. The cheers of the audience echoing. Jimin wondered how many teams had already have their won items transported to their chambers.

"It's your turn GlassWater" The staff said. 

Jimin and Hoseok nodded, getting up from their seat and walking towards the stage.

"Good luck, guys" Yoongi's voice was heard from behind them.

The two stopped momentarily, smiling at the eldest before they went up the stairs leading to the stage.

Darkness.

That's all Jimin saw. 

It was night and the lights were off. Jimin could see nothing, but he knew that Hoseok was present a couple steps beside him, frozen in a position very similar to this.

Then suddenly, the blinding spotlights fell upon them and Jimin had to blink furiously to adjust to it. Soon, the familiar beat fell in. When Jimin heard the music it was like liquid adrenaline being injected right into his blood stream - not so strong as to freak him out, but just enough to make him tingle and start to move his body.

Even past the blinding lights, Jimin could see the shocked expressions on everyone's face. Jimin felt confidence surge through his body as he smirked to the audience. He saw his effect on them, the way his movements were able to glue everyone's attention.

Hoseok's and Jimin's dancing styles were different from each but they mixed it together in a magnificent concoctions that had everyone drunk. The difference between them complemented each other's style.

Kicking his right leg forward with pointed toes and flexed calf muscles, the silver head boy pivoted in a revolving whirl of sharp precision and accurate grace. While the brunet performed a jump over the younger's bent body.

Their dance didn't just showcase their strong presence. It showcased their skills through their extreme body control, fluidity and agile steps. None of the two missed a beat. Dancing in perfect co-ordination.

The volume of the music lowered as the performance reached the end.

The end of the performance was followed by dead silence and Jimin thought he would pass out any moment because of it. 

Suddenly, the crowd burst into roars of cheers. Jimin could hear them chanting his and Hoseok's name. His eye flickered to Yoongi would was watching them with a proud expression. n that moment Jimin hoped that people knew about Yoongi as well.

The three had a talk about it before. 

After the Opening Ceremony, they would have one more chance to showcase their talent. In case they weren't able to win the audience's heart this time, they would have the chance to redeem them. 

Jimin and Hoseok rushed off the stage. But even then, the crowd continued to cheer for them. 

Jimin. Hoseok. GlasWater. These three words only the words tumbling out the audience's mouth. Jimin had a huge smile on his face, satisfied by his performance but it was soon crumbled when he laid this eyes over the members of the final team.

Even the way they walked was enough to grab anyone's attention. It was a matter of moments before Jimin got to see their performance.  The three were ushered away from near the stage and were back to sitting at the previous seat.

Jimin noticed the dirty glances that the others were throwing at them and from that Jimin knew, they had managed to outshine the others. 

Jimin noticed that Hosoek's eyes were glued towards a specific direction and Yoongi was again observing everything around them. 

However all the attention soon shifted to the final performances.

And as Jimin watched the final performance, he felt their chances of coming up on the top fading away. For, they managed to snatch the attention form GlassWater to FireCrystals.

Umm...Not confident with the chapter. But I hoped it wasn't too boring...

And the next chapter will be the last before the actual story starts, so stay tuned?

Dang! Before I started this story, I was actually confident with the plot line, but as the write it, I feel all the confidence drain away....

*cries in mochi*
