Chapter 6: Hunter's Interaction

Hunter's pov

"Hunter, stay with Jonathan. Get to know him." Sara said while being dragged away by a furious Keithlin.

Argh! Come one. I gave her my panicked look. I'm being left alone with Loser Jon! It's so... strange. So out of the ordinary.

In return Sara gave me a glare. Oh great. Now my life is on the line.

I sat back and decided to start the conversation, since I was pretty sure he wouldn't start it anyway.

"Sup man! I'm Hunter. Nice to meet you."

He nodded "Jonathan..."

This is so awkward "So Jonathan, how did you meet Sara?" I started the conversation.

He smiled a little. Wow. That's just weird to see. His hoodie didn't exactly let me see his whole reaction.

"She helped me when Derek was... Uh... You know." Jonathan replied silently.

I nodded. I know what he means. I have seen what Derek has done to Jonathan. I'm not saying I don't feel bad for the dude, but I haven't really tried to help him before. I didn't really want to get into trouble. I'm ashamed of that, but what could I do? Risk my well being for somebody I don't even know? I don't think so. If it was for one of my friends, obviously. But I didn't know the dude.

"Ok... since when have you been hanging out with her?" I asked him.

I'm curious. If Sara has been hanging out with him for a while, then that would have been strange. It's just plain impossible for Sara to hide a person she hangs out with. She wouldn't even be able to hide an invisible boy. It's Sara we are talking about!

He smiled. "We have hanged out a few times since last week. She tends to help me a lot. Sara is sort of my only friend." He whispered the last sentence.

That's just sad. Plain heart braking sad to hear this words. But good at the same time. Sara has done good. Somebody is going on Santa's good list this year.

"Sara... Well, she has a great heart, but has a unique personality. Hehehe. She's a bit crazy." I said with a chuckle.

He chuckled. "Yea. I noticed. She found me yesterday. I was sneezing and she came to the conclusion I was a squirrel with the flu."

I burst out laughing. "Really?! No way man!"

Jonathan laughed. "Yeah man."

I smiled mischievously. "Dude, has she eaten any chocolate yet?"

He tilted his head. "Not that I know of. Why?"

I chuckled. "Dude, when she eats chocolate, get away as fast as possible. She's like a child overdosing on sugar. Our group of friends call it chocolate symptom. She tends to get crazier than usual, and that's a lot to say. "

"Really? No way!" Jonathan said with a chuckle.

"Yeah man! It's like if she's drunk. It's hilarious!" I said with laughter. "Once, she ate three chocolate ice creams. She went loca on us."

He smiled. "Wow."

I never imagined this dude would be open talk. He's fine with me.

"So how's life Jonathan?" I asked casually.

He shrugged "You must know. You called me Loser Jon for a reason."

I felt travel to my ears, extremely ashamed. "Sorry man. I didn't mean to—"
