Chapter 10: Jonathan's cousin

Jonathan's pov

It's December. It's almost Christmas and students are on their school break. It's snowing outside and it's gotten pretty cold.

I'm sitting by my window and watching the snow fall. My breath makes a shadowy cloud over the glass. Amen for the heating system.

I'm really bored. I can only think of being with my new friends. Specially Sara... Yeah, specially her.

The bra incident was left in the past and no one knows about it except the both of us. God, I can't erase the image of Sara and that bra out of my mind. Not that I want to erase it anyway. Dammit, I feel like a pervert. But who can erase such an image from their mind? Believe me, no one.

I chuckled, can't believe that's the most action I've had in my life.

The few weeks after that happened, the group and I have gotten to know much more about each other. I almost spend all my time with Sara, and when she's not with me, I hang out with Hunter, Ian and Jake. I learned all their habits and secrets. I was shocked at Hunter when he confessed at me that he liked Taylor for as long as five years. That's hard. Specially since Taylor moved to New York and Hunter never saw her again. Now that she's back here he wants to do everything in his power to never be apart from her again, even if that meant to just be her friend. Although, he's hoping that she wants to be something more.

Ian is a nice guy. He told me he met Samantha by knocking her down the stairs. It was 'love' at first sight (or first fall, as Ian puts it).

Jake is really funny to talk to. He told me the first time he met his girlfriend, Keithlin, was thanks to Ian meeting Samantha. So it was a 'one for two fall' so they put it. Or two for two, since both are pairs.

The boys are great.

The other week, Sara was absent and I was walking with the guys. Derek came rushing agains my shoulder and made me fall back.

"What are you going to do without your girly bodyguard, huh?!"

Derek and his minions laughed at me while the guys stood up for me and helped me stand up.

"Stop it, Derek. It's getting old!" Hunter yelled. Derek only snickered and walked away.

Even the girls are polite and nice. Keithlin is just like Jake. They make a great couple. What bothers her is that the relationship they have going on for over a year might come to an end. Why? Because neither of their parents know about it. Keithlin told me that they would tell them at a picnic Jake planned for their parents at the park. I hope everything goes well. Like I said, they're a great couple.

Samantha is really matured but has the kindest heart. She loves Ian and its evident in her eyes. The way Sami looks at Ian is the way I want my girlfriend (if I ever have one) to look at me.

Taylor is a rocker at heart. She got me some music for my iPod. They're all Rock related. She's great for Hunter. It's cute how Hunter hugs Taylor and she reacts instantly by hugging him back. I swear they're already a couple but they just don't see it. 

The girls are good too.

I've noticed a weird reaction of them every time I hug or approach Sara (which is often). They usually make goggly eyes at Sara. I commented about it to the boys and they laughed. They told me that the girls must be messing about Sara and I being together. I almost froze in shock. Me and Sara together? That's funny. But for the guys, it was a motive to make fun off and a serious matter, which I disagreed.
