At half eight, me, Lewis and Ed adjusted our masks and ran on stage as the last act of the show with a 'rumoured' celebrity guest appearance. As before, when we reached the drop, Alan jumped up to his mixing desk and started playing along. The crowd roared at his sudden appearance onstage. When we finished playing our creation, the audience screamed something I had not planned for. A cry of "Encore, Encore, ENCORE!!!" echoed around the auditorium. I looked to the back of the hall, the bright lights stinging my eyes. Miss Eastwood, stood with some of the other staff, nodded. I nodded my head to the others. I closed my eyes and allowed the music to wash over me as I started singing.

In the end, we played well into the night and we had been onstage for nearly an hour until I heard the opening notes of 'faded'. We had previously agreed this would be our last song as it was the one Alan was most recognised for and people would be likely to enjoy it most even though it wasn't my favourite. When we finished, Alan grabbed a microphone from the side of the stage and thanked the crowd for a brilliant night. Then he looked at the screen hanging behind us and, as if on cue, it switched from the split screen of our two logos it had been showing while we were playing, to the Alan x walkers logo I had designed for them at Alan's request. "Some of you might recognise this logo, developed for me by the remarkable young lady standing next to me. I have something to say to these kids, relating to this logo, and I have no clue how the heck they are going to react to it, but I'm going to say it anyway. Do you want to join X Walkers?" my head was whirling. I had not expected that, and it had thrown me off my game. The audience yelled their approval, and I smiled at them underneath my mask, even though they couldn't see it. Me, Lewis and Ed pretended to discuss it in the corner, causing Alan confusion, as he knew that in any other situation we would have said yes. Unable to hold back my giggles I burst out laughing and the three of us declared that we would. Then Alan continued his little speech, which turned out to be longer than I thought, "For the students here, I gather there are only two days until the summer holidays?" there was a chorus of 'yes!' from the students in the audience in answer to Alan's question. "Good. So, I go on a tour the day after that and when I was planning the shows with my manager, we both thought there was something missing. And then yesterday we were sat on the plane here and I looked up and he'd obviously had the same thought as me. I was going to text you, but I thought maybe give you a little surprise tonight. So, what do you say? Want to come on a world tour with me?" we looked at each other and then... "Yes,yes, yes, yes,YES!" we were jumping up and down with excitement.

When Friday evening arrived, the night before we were set to go on tour, I had already packed, unpacked and repacked my suitcase seven times. It sat in the hallway next to a backpack containing my phone, laptop, headphones, notebook, pencil case, some snacks and my kindle. I didn't sleep much that night and from the looks on the others faces when they picked me up in the bus the next morning, I suspected they didn't either. We drove to the airport where Au/ra was waiting for us. I gave her a huge hug. It felt so good to be back amongst my superstar friends and I had really missed her. Onboard Alan's private jet, I got out my laptop and started putting the finishing touches to the 'shadows' music video, so I could release it before we left the UK.

20 minutes later, after Lewis and Edward had given their approval of the video, our first ever song was officially released online. Within minutes it had received millions of views and our subscribers had doubled in the first half an hour of it being live than they had in the past year. If it continued like this wed reach 1 million walkers before the end of the day!

Later during our lunchbreak / refuelling stop in los Angeles, I got a notification on my phone. The boys, who were sat next to me, also had their mobiles buzz. I opened the message, an email from YouTube:

I could see Lewis' eyes physically bulging with shock at this news. Ed's mouth was hanging open so wide, his jaw was practically touching the floor. And I was jumping up and down, clapping my hands like an oversized toddler who has been promised a new toy, which I was, kind of. We must have looked an odd bunch sat I the middle of los Angeles airport, staring at our phones, because we definitely attracted quite a few stares from passing strangers and Au/ra, who generally kept herself to herself if she was busy, came over and asked what was up. I just showed her the screen. It was way easier than explaining everything.

Back on the plane, we told everyone about our success. Jamie [A/N: that's Au/ra's actual name] and Gunnar already knew, but other than that no one knew we had just got our golden play button. When we announced it, everyone was extremely overjoyed, and we tried to celebrate as much as you can on plane. I cracked open a tub of pringles (sour cream and onion) and played the band playlist on my laptop. Then Alan pulled a set of skittles out from goodness knows where and we had a game of bowling 35,000 ft in the air.

When we arrived in Montreal , we breezed through security and found our suitcases waiting in baggage collection. Next, we walked through the airport, having to pause to sign a couple of autographs for some fans that recognised Alan from his unmasked vlogs, and to grab some sandwiches. When we reached the exit, we waited for the bus to pull up and then we jumped into the luxury leather seats and started on our way to the hotel, where we would get ready for 'a bunch of promo' as Alan put it.

When we finally arrived at the hotel, I squealed. Waiting outside were Tomine ('Darkside' vocalist) and Torine (who sang 'play') or Tomi and Tori as I liked to call them. I ran over the instant the door opened and instead of heading for tori as I had known her a lot longer, I ran forward and squeezed Tomi. Then I turned as though headed into the hotel. Torine sounded annoyed when she commented "How come I don't get a hug?" I giggled and sprinted back to her to give her a massive cuddle, "Just kidding. Missed you as well."
