"Y/N! Y/N, wake up!"

"Lou?" Startled I jolted out of my dreams. I was drenched in sweat, my body shaking in pain and exhaustion.

Guess the sleepless nights are finally coming back to haunt me.

Slowly I tried to pull myself up from bed. But my limbs gave way before I could get very far.
Sighing in frustration I turned to face the worried little person next to me, croaking, "What time is it", whilst starting another pitiful attempt at sitting up. This time I made it...barely.

"4 o'clock in the morning. You were screaming and crying in your sleep again. Did you try drinking the tea I made you?"

Sighing once again I tried to focus my blurry sight on the white haired fairy. Her big heterochromia eyes glowed in the dark. A pink and a blue orb radiating exhaustion.
"I'm sorry I woke you up again didn't I", I apologized. There was no need in telling her that her tea didn't work. We had both long realized it.

Taking a deep breath, Lou placed her tiny hand on my forehead. (size and general build like the fairies in the dress-rosa arc)
Usually I would've now teased her about how tiny her hand looked against me. But since a few weeks ago our usually had become different. Now we no longer exchanged our friendly jokes. We were both far too tired for such sh*t.

"Was it the same dream again", Lou asked.

Resigned I nodded, my head buzzing with the pictures that were haunting me every night.
A little boy, an outcast, seemingly hated by the earth from the day he came to be. He was radiating loneliness, insecurity and a hunger to be loved. The scene switched to the same boy running around with two other kids his age. I could feel the joy and hope lying within this scene. Dreams were drawn out and planned and close bonds filling the child's void created. Then everything shattered. One boy disappeared leaving regret, sadness, fear and anger. A promise was made and led to the last scene. The boy now a fully grown man was lying in his childhood friends arms. A hole in his body. I could feel the hurricane of emotions hit me just thinking about it. The pain of loosing someone you loved, the void of a broken promise, the realization that you where loved and the regret of hurting those you loved. Then agony overwhelmed me and drowned me in pain until I woke up.
"What did I do to deserve this torture", I growled, clenching my teeth as I massaged my aching head.

"Y/N... Do you really think it's a dream?"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean you have had visions before, this might just be one. Maybe it's trying to tell you something?"

"Another vision, Huh?" Dammit, Lou could be right. That would explain why none of our remedies have helped and why the emotions radiating from it are so strong. Oh no. Visions like this one are a pain. Does this mean I won't get to sleep until I have acted on it? ARG I hate this. I just want to sleeeeeep! Frustrated I let my head fall into my hands. If Lou was correct- If I was truly having visions again then we would end up having to involve ourselves in a whole lot of trouble.

"Dammit Lou, I think you might be right."

"Do you have any idea what it's trying to tell you?"

"Nope, but I better figure it out soon. I haven't lived 364 years to be killed by sleep deprivation. Lou, get me some-"

"Coffee? I already placed a can on your bedside table."

"Oh, thanks!" *Sips coffee* "I think we have layed low for long enough. Time to head out!"
