"Let's... let's sit there and talk." Ten said and pointed at the chairs here in the church.

I am still catching my breath. I was not born to be a runner, fucktards!

"What are the information we have? Kahit ano, please share it." Ten started when we all gathered around.

"Shooting at their bodies are useless. Aim for the head." seryosong sabi ni Kevin. I remembered him shooting them using his rifle.

"Of course. Zombies are technically decayed. Their bodies are useless. Upon killing a zombie, it's always the general rule to aim for the head." sabi ni Lilly.

"What's confusing is, zombies should not run fast. Gaya nga ng sabi ni Lilly, they are in a decayed state meaning it will be hard for them to control their bodies. But we all witnessed how they ran like how an alive person would." Farhan informed.

Oh! The nerds spoke up!

"This game is made by the Shadows. Of course, they will jack it up." seryosong sabi ni Elias. "For now, the first discovered upgrade is that they can run fast."

"Hologram lang naman siguro sila 'no? Imposible naman kung totoong zombie 'yan. Ano 'yan, cliché na kapag nakagat, magiging zombie na rin?" natawa ni Conner sa sarili niyang tanong.

"Fucking arse, it's no time to joke!" reklamo ko. I'm right though! We need to be serious!

"We are not sure about that." Haris said.

"Hoy! Ibig sabihin posible ang zombie?! Ang mema n'yo naman! Di totoo 'yun hoy!" Margarette opposed.

"They are the Shadows, Maggie, t—" Keandra started.

"Margarette, not Maggie. Please." Pagputol niya na ikinirap ko. As if it's important!

"O-kay. Margarette. Solar and Lunar are the most genius people we can ever meet. Lahat, posible sa kanila." Keandra continued.

"Right. We cannot let our guards down. Who knows what can Solar and Lunar do, right? They are the best." Velaris showed an expressionless face.

"Right. So any other information?" Dexter asked.

Walang sumagot.

May pumasok sa isip ko kaya nagsalita ako. "What if we gather information?" tanong ko.

"What do you mean gather information?" tanong ni Kevin.

"Let's try to capture a zombie. Tapos, let's test it. What it can possibly do or not. Has any of you tried to get that tech gadget thingy back in preparation day?" I asked.

"I got that. I can scan anything with it. It can probably give us information about the zombies." sabi ni Warren.

"Nice one! For the tech thingy and for speaking though. You're not speaking kasi!" Harley complimented. Warren stayed silent.

"The question is, sinong matapang para manghuli ng zombie?" tanong ni Alan.

"I volunteer." sagot ko agad. Napatingin sila sa akin ng may pagkakataka. "What? This is a game of courage. Dapat nga lahat tayo nagvolunteer because we should be courageous enough to face them. I'm no coward." I smirked.

"Cora! You barely survived kung wala si Kevin!" Kira said.

"I'm not going to run! Inaamin kong mahina ako tumakbo pero diyan lang naman sa labas!"
