Apostle Residence
. . .
"Apostle Residence?" I asked with confusion. That's an odd name for a place as beautiful as this. Apostle Residence? And here I thought this place would have an extravagant name or something classical like "The Golden Manor", or "House of Legends". But Apostle Residence doesn't sound so bad.
Why are we even here? Is this where we are going to live for the rest of the year and the years to come? Why are we even staying here? I don't have enough money to live here, so I thought we would stay at the academy's dormitories where most of the students live.
But I remember Vira calling Matilda "Mistress" so I guess this is where she lives. Does that mean we're going to live together? Oh dear, living with Matilda. That doesn't seem bad, but I think we had a rough start since I started attacking her earlier just because I thought she would kidnap us. Seriously, she should've told us that we're living here. Why would she act like that in the first place? We would just obliged if she did tell us beforehand.
"Yes, Apostle Residence. We'll explain why some other time." Sword said and smiled at me.
The four of them looked like different people now that we're here. The first time I saw them, Blade and Sword seemed like difficult people. Like they're short tempered, and they could actually give me a hard time just by being around them. But even though we just arrived here in less than a minute, they already have an endearing and calm aura around them.
Matilda, on the other hand, was the one I thought to be the easiest to be with. Someone who you can be comfortable with, considering that she's Aphrodite's daughter. But the more time I spent with her, just being in that car, she's a really tough person, in a good way. And she's a bit loud, contrary to what I thought that Aphrodite's children are poised, calm and other things.
Morgana, is the one I couldn't read. She still had a powerful aura that makes me want to summon my weapon. And she may look calm, she's even smiling along, but the intensity of her magic still terrifies me a bit. The tension is still strong that even her calm face can't hide how powerful her magic feels. I should be more cautious around her.
Matilda's beside me so I heard her chuckle while looking at me with teasing eyes. She must've heard what I said in my mind so I raised my eyebrows at her.
Stop reading my mind. I said and glared a bit.
"Is this your house?" Alyssa asked Blade who's beside her and they're in front of us. Morgana was the first one to enter the house. Alyssa and Blade followed after while me, Sword and Matilda were at the back.
"Our house." Blade answered with a smiled.
"Oh, the four of you live here?" She asked again, to which Blade answered with a nod.
The moment we entered the house, I couldn't be more amazed. The feeling of shock that I felt outside the house is nothing compared to what I feel now that I saw what's inside. Even without entering the house complete, I was able to see how massive it is inside, and hose big it really is.
The door revealed a hall possible as big as our house. The end of the hall had a stairway leading to the next floor. But that wasn't the only stairway that I saw. Looking around, the was another stairway on the corner of the hall, leading to a much higher floor, then another stairway on the left where it led to the highest floor of the mansion. The colour of the inside of the house were similar outside. Pure white with hints of gold on the side.
Looking up, there was a big chandelier that could light up the whole hall. On to the right, there was a door leading to another room, same as to the left but there wasn't a door, instead, it showed possibly the living room since I can see a piano sitting at a corner, and several couches and a wooden table.
